Bomber into an English pint. Pours a deep black with a sparse light brown head. Roasted malt and coffee aroma with a bit of vanilla, very sweet flavor with a bit of oakiness. Finish is quite boozy (given the theme, tequila?).

Bottle from box aroma, pours a thin looking dark brown with a minimal tan head. Aromas of chocolate, some roast and a dash of spice. Taste is mostly chocolate milkshake, powdery but thin, with just a hint of spice. Very little spice actually. Finish is semi sweet with a lingering cocoa note. Decent.

Overall a really nice impy stout, but probably not one that I’d drink on a regular basis. I found the beer way too heavy on the sweet malt and the chocolate. I was also a little disappointed that there was virtually no head on the beer whatsoever. The nose featured some really nice chocolate notes, along with some vanilla, cream and slight flowery hops. The finish was extremely sweet and contained a hint of alcohol.

Roasted coffee smell with hints of chocolate. Dark charcoal, with Carmel color in the lacing. Thick and malty--soft on the palate and not so bitter finish. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark brown to black with tiny disappeared tan head from bottle. Smell is roasted malts and oak. Roasted coffee, Chile pepper, chocolate, vanilla. Good.

Pours dark coffee with a creamy cappuccino smaller head. Aroma is lighter, but you get notes of faint non spicy pepper and roasted bitter chocolate malts. Flavors include a mixture blended very smoothly of vanilla, pepper (like dry flakes), and some bitter roasted malts. It is so smooth for a higher ABV.

Bottle from Total Wine. Good looking dark stout with a tan head but the aroma right off the bat is burnt malts, nothing sweet and candied as anticipated. The taste is actually an ok stout with hints of spice from the chile and cinnamon, which seems to get me more with some sips than others. The malts seem really heavy like an imperial stout or robust black IPA, so I'm a little confused by the beer, having expected a sweet dessert beer. Overall just ok but I have a tough time reconciling the expectation with the actual taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Deep brown with a beige head. Smells and tastes like crest toothpaste to me. The original kind. Pretty thin. Don’t think I’d buy this again.
