Opaque dark brown beer, good mid tan head. Palate is crisp and a little dry. Mild fine carbonation. Mild minerals. Powdery chocolate that is somewhere between dark and milk chocolate. Touch of candy fruits. Very mellow coffee cream. Light finish. Pleasant enough but lacks a little depth.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown in color with a tan head. Heavy on the roasted malt with mild coffee and, despite the name, only a moderate chocolate aroma. The flavor is somewhat bitter, perhaps even astringent. There is some mild vanilla, a bit of chocolate and coffee, and quite a bit of roast. Another mediocre beer from Clown Shoes.
