From a bottle poured a dark brown color with a small amount of head. Sweet malt flavor with a bitter chocolate finish.

Pours dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of chocolate and roasted malts with hints of spices. Sweet milk chocolate and roasted malt flavors with some cinnamon and hints of chilis. No heat from the chilis. Medium to full body with soft carbonation. Better than I was expecting.

Chalky brown color with a thin tan film head. Looks runny showing the high abv. Smells like milk chocolate soaked in alcohol. Tastes like alcohol with a little bit of cocoa mixed in. A bit rough on going down. The pull all the effort in to making this one strong and none of it into making it smooth. Pity!

Comes out of the bottle a rich, warm sable just a red tomcat whisker above black. Head is fairly thick, fine-bubbled, and toasty tan. Aroma has chocolate, coffee, nutty and earthy notes, very appealing. Flavor fills the mouth with semi-sweet chocolate, quality coffee, nutty and earthy notes plus hints of caramel and hops. Full-bodied texture has plenty of tingle and fizz. Now, how does one say "Excellent beer" in Mexican Spanish?

Bomber to oversized snifter. Looks good; cola with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; chocolate and vanilla with some spice and a pleasant dark malt backbone. Nice and smooth on the palate. Good beer.

A brownish black appearance with a tan head. Aroma contains some chocolate, coffee, and some pepper notes. The flavor is a bit sour with dark fruits, caramel, cinammon, and a hint of hot spice. The aftertaste is both sweet and spicy. Overall its a pretty good spiced beer.

Big roasty beer, cinnamon and vanilla are big with a very light spicey note in the finish. Roastyness is dominant.

Was hoping for so much more from the description. Light inclusion of cocoa, vanilla, ancho, and cinnamon in this one. Looking for aggressive, assertive, down-right nasty additions of the before-mentioned ingredients. Everything is there but it’s subtle. Drinkable at 9%. Not bad.

Black in color with a decent tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, heavy vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Taste is spicy, light smoke, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon.
