Big white head. Plenty of lacing left behind. Spicy, fruity aroma with notes of pepper and roasted grain. Malty taste with a bit of citrus fruit mixed in. Not too bad.

(Rating #5090)

Big citrus nose and also kind of boozy. Lots of coriander along with orange peel, alcohol burn may hide some of its nuances though

Pours a gorgeous peach colour. Drinks more like a triple than a wit. Aromas of Belgian yeast and citrus very similar flavours. Quite tasty.

Picked up at Hokus Pokus in Gonzales, LA. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is full of tart clementine notes with some white pepper and wheat. The flavor has a lot of orange and coriander notes as well as some wheat and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle from Premiere, not the freshest thing on the shelf. Decent wit, though I would liked real orange peel, not flavour added. Good drinkability.Smooth mouthfeel.

My Bottom Line:
Potent sweetness and boastful coriander spiciness don milky, whipped cream-like aspects in this over-the-top Imperial Witbier/Double White.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the cloudy beige.
-The carbonation is prickly, yet the body feels way too sugar heavy.
-I like coriander, but this is just too much.
-Dry this up a bit and it might become drinkable. As is, it drinks like a Barley Wine, and that just doesn’t work with such a spicy, fruity profile, imho...

Bottle.

22oz bottle 6/1/13 (Binny’s Plainfield)-Pours a cloudy orangish amber with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and wheat. Taste of the same but a bit stronger than a normal wit. This medium bodied brew was pretty darn tasty.
