Clementine is beer conceived in a dream, in the middle of a blistering beatdown of a day. We used Clementine, sweet orange peel, coriander, and summit hops to smack that mean day upside the head with a refreshing clown shoe.

Clown Shoes Clementine White Ale is a clear, pale golden ale with a fuzzy, white head that leaves nice lacing. It has a perfume aroma of orange and wheat. Itís bordering on dish soap. Deeper in the aroma is some nice juiciness. Itís light and clean and very crisp. Itís tart and citrusy all the way through. Thereís a little orange peel bitterness at the finish. It lingers faintly after the finish. This would be an outstanding warm weather brew. It actually quenches my thirst. Itís ridiculously easy to drink.

(Bottle, 0.65 l - bottled 05/2011, at Pikkulintu, 20120316) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had coriander, citricness and spices. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spices, corianded, fruitiness, citricness, hops, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, spicy and bitter. A tasty but not so traditional wit.

Light golden orange in color with a large whitish head. Crisp taste with flavors of citrus peel, zest, and fruit. A hint of spice. Light malt and somewhat crisp finish.

Well done. Lots of orange and coriander in the nose. The color is very pale, and full of cloudy goodness. The flavor is tame, balanced, and clean. The flavors I smelled are present, but not overpowering. Its a little stronger than a normal wit....but I didnít know that until I looked it up. Nice job guys.....

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2014 On draft at Isaacs re-rate 12/26/14 A simple brew, but that doesnít make it bad. Mild citrus , spice and bread aromas and tastes. The finish was mild wheat, thin , but nice.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours slight hazy yellow-golden with a medium, frothy, white head. Fine duration. Aroma has plenty of sharp citrus on top of sweet wheat malts. Zesty, oranges, a bit of red apple. Medium to high carbonation, fairly light and medium dry mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly sweet, lots of grainy wheat at the base, lively citrus zest, orange peel (and possibly clementine), Fine finishing grapefruity and citrusy bitter finish.

Bottle from Total Wines. Hazy, light orange pour with a brief, tall off-white head that leaves little lace. Nose is yeasty with Belgian malt evident and some light citrus fruitiness. Light body with lively carbonation. Tangerines, yeasty bread, a touch of funkiness and some slight tartness make this one quite interesting. Finish is more citrus and umami. Excellent, could almost be a Saison. Very refreshing.
