Clementine is beer conceived in a dream, in the middle of a blistering beatdown of a day. We used Clementine, sweet orange peel, coriander, and summit hops to smack that mean day upside the head with a refreshing clown shoe.

355ml Bottle from Brewdogís Online Shop (£3.00):
Fruity upfront with citrus notes (orange & some lemon zest). Pear & apple like aroma plus some coriander, cloves & wheat. There are a few light hops in the mix as well & some faint yeast and a semi-sweet aroma towards the end.
Light golden & cloudy with a thumb-sized, bubbly white head on top that reduces a little, holding about half its original size for the next couple of minutes.
Orange & wheat with some lemon zest & coriander before some clove & yeast around the middle. It tastes a little sweeter than the nose indicated & some spice is present throughout, as is the faint hops from the aroma too.
Very smooth & refreshing, itís well-balanced throughout & goes down very easy despite the 6% abv. Itís well-carbonated & seems quite lively giving it quite a crisp and dry finish that leave you wanting to take another drink.

A beer that I really enjoyed & one that proved far too easy to drink. Itís relatively simple would usually be a bad thing but it works very well in this case with the citrus fruits & orange complimenting the coriander and wheat flavours. This one tastes as a witbier should and is definitely one worth picking up.

Pours a hazy yellow. Bright citrus with a light finish. Easy drinking and recommended. My first Clown Shoes offering. I'll be back. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one poured a hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma was of ornages,, light wheat, and banan esters. Flavor was similar, very refreshing because of the clementines, but not overly fruit forward. A great take on this blend.

very full, sweet, musty aroma of yeast, flowers, honeycomb, and vanilla with a definite sweet citrus tang of the clementine/hops. looks average. flavor is explosively full bodied with sweet citrus, big smooth musty yeast, and some tropical hop flavor (or is that the ínaturalí clementine flavor) either way, very full bodied, pungent, clean wit beer with a definite sweet citrus dimension - palate is semi dry and clean with big lingering flavor - donít get the whole clown shoe thing, but this is really good - seems like they go all out for most of their beers...

Bottle from Save On. Cloudy beige/orange with dense white head and lace. Zesty orange and coriander aroma. Medium sweet orangey/clementine wheat tangy fruitiness with herbal zesty fruity bittern finish. Medium body, slightly thick for style, but nice and soft mouthfeel. Very good.

Bottle from beer swap Saturday. Pours pale orange gold with a scant white head that clings a bit. Aroma is spicy clove and corriander, orange citrus, phenols. Flavor starts with wheat malt, juicy orange, then is overcome by corriander, clove. Finish is dry, spicy.

hopmelt (178) - Painesville TWP, Ohio, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Pours hazy straw, slight thin white head. Aroma sweet wheat malt, citrus, orange, stone fruit esters, coriander and noble hops in the background. Taste sweet orange, bit of spice and noble hops, fruity esters as in the nose, but more in the background. Mouthfeel thin side of medium body, medium carbonation, crisp dry finish. Very nice beer, maybe one of the best "summer" beers Iíve had.

TheJestersBeer (2047) - SWEDEN - MAY 10, 2014
355ml bottle. Pours a cloudy, medium orange, with a white head. Spicy, citrusy aroma, wheat, yeasty phenols, cloves, orange peel. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Spicy, citrusy taste, orange peel, cloves, pepper, phenols. Quite nice but the alcohol feels unnecessarily high. (2014-05-10)
