COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Eagle Claw Fist utilizes the same Chico yeast that shaped Hoppy Feet and Brown Angel. Canadian Two Row, English Crystal, and a little English Black Patent malt provide a sweet, balanced backbone. Simcoe, Centennial, and Citra work together to create a unique hop assault, with an intense bitterness that manages to leave your palate in one piece and is harmonized by the flavors of tropical fruits and flowers. The finish is dry.

Bomber pours dark amber chestnut with a large khaki head. Aroma is malty, with tropical fruits, pine, caramel. Taste has an earthy maltiness all the way through, a heavy resinious pine presence which borders on metallic, with fruit, finishing with a dry malty bitterness. Not bad not great.

tasting on 8/20/11. red pour with a 2 finger off white head. big time citrus / pine hop nose with grapes and light apples... really smells like a hop forest. bitter mouthfeel with layers of caramel malts, grapes and pepper. bitter finish - somewhat harsh. very hop forward beer.

Even brown with a big tan head and a thick, perfumey, citrus buzzy hop aroma. Taste is deep, pithy bitterness with a slight astringent roast into the finish with thin lemon thereafter. $6/22oz

22 oz. brown bottle. A hazy amber beer with a small head. The aroma is hoppy, orange rind, oranges, pine and an almost slight vanilla sweetness. The taste is a little rough around the edges. Some sweetness and hop flavor but I mainly get bitterness that lasts quite awhile like someone is scraping my tongue. An OK beer but I hope they do better in honor of Candace who seems to be a real treat.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Reminded me a little of 5am saint...not quite as hoppy but similar character. Brown with a nice hop kick and clean finish. Refreshing and not overpowering or sweet given the alcohol.

Bomber from Premiere Gourmet. Pours amber body with enormous lasting tan head. Initially, malty aroma, also some faint hops. Mostly a well malted melange of hops. Good balance, though very roasted to burnt malt as well.Good drinkability and above average mouthfeel.

Without a doubt, my favorite of the Clown Shoes offerings thus far. Dark crimson, garnet, and ruby all visible in the glass depending onthe light. Aroma does pinch you in the face a bit with pungent grapefruit pith, lemon zest, orange peel, and other oily citrus notes accompanied by Ponderosa and a bit of Douglas Fir. Nice malty backbone with caramel, toffee, honey, and tropical candied fruit. Pretty good!
