Eagle Claw Fist utilizes the same Chico yeast that shaped Hoppy Feet and Brown Angel. Canadian Two Row, English Crystal, and a little English Black Patent malt provide a sweet, balanced backbone. Simcoe, Centennial, and Citra work together to create a unique hop assault, with an intense bitterness that manages to leave your palate in one piece and is harmonized by the flavors of tropical fruits and flowers. The finish is dry.

On tap. Pours a warm, reddish amber with a slight haze and a lacing off-white head. Burned caramel in the nose combined with intensely aromatic hops. Quite full-bodied, caramel and biscuit again with an intense hopping. Very classic Amarican - an Imperial Red I’d say. 041211

On tap at the Craft. Thank you Mario for this beer and the Mikkeller! Cheers my friend - come back to us soon! Smooth semi dry palate. Good malt base - just a touch of raw malt in the honey biscuit caramel sweetness. Blends seamlessly with good sweet and sour tropical hops. A little skunk. The malt comes back with lacto, Finishes semi dry with sweet heavy tropical fruits and marmalade. Complex beer with lots of good stuff going on.

Bottle. Different label - this one is Caveman in a Ralph Macchio movie. The beer itself is murky maroon with a massive beige ice cream cone head and nice lacing. Aroma of potpourri, pine, Christmas spices. Taste is spiced chocolate covered caramel, subtle brandy. Very nice.
