4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Caponeís. Pours turbid orangy brown; the color of a really old penny, with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is great; lovely notes of mango, pineapple, tangerine, spare caramel malt. Tastes resiny, with notes of pineapple, tangerine, mango. Malt seems a bit light in the taste, with a dry finish and some floral notes.

Interesting but not necessarily appealing. Found the grapefruit and maple syrup flavors to clash a bit. Finishes nice and bitter

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle. Pours cloudy orange, tiny white head, malty aroma, not as hoppy as Iíd expected, dangerously drinkable for such a strong beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy. Very hazy dull gold. The nose has nice grapefruit hop character, and the palate is quite oily and hop-heavy, but there is a lack of brightness that lessens the overall appeal. Bitterness is a little on the harsh side too. Just ok.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. A bit of hop flavor up front, but nothing distinctive. Plenty of malt. The high alcohol content of this was not apparent and it was easy to drink. Pretty good overall.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is sweet, dank with orange/grapefruit peels. The taste is a sweet, malty backbone with peaches, grapefruit and a touch of mango. You donít really get that punch in the face from the hops, more like a bitchslap. But thatís OK, ícause itís well balanced and have a smooth, subtle bitterness in the finish. Loads of yeast sediments swimming around though, and I hate that normally, but in this case I choose to overlook.

Drucken på Monks Café, Stockholm. Doft av ljuv passionsfrukt och smaken likaså. Ganska snäll i beskan, kroppen lite väl tunn.
