3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper pour with a 1 finger, yellow beige head. Aroma is sweet citrus and caramelized tropical fruit salad right up front, booze, biscuit, caramel and a sort of sharp fruity cheese note that I canít really put my finger on, like cheddar and tart berry puree or something. Flavor is sweet caramel, pale malt, sweet berry, melon and tropical fruit, tart and bitter citrus, hot booziness, and a weird, every fruit and vegetable in the fridge put in a blender then cooked into soup taste to the finish. Medium body, syrupy, almost sticky feel throughout and medium, but sharp carbonation. Itís a bit of an overly boozy, syrupy mess, but it is pretty enjoyable overall. However, at $13/4pk itís definitely a poor value. Maybe $7/6pk MIGHT warrant more than one purchase.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is a pretty forgettable IIPA.It is cloudy orange w/ a creamy, long-lasting white head. It smell of sweet citrus and pine. This comes off a bit heavy and syrupy thickness seems to bring out some mango and melon notes on the palate. Its mildly carbonated and finishes juicy w/ just a touch of bitterness. There is nothing really wrong w/ this but it doesnít have the vibrant hop character I look for in the style and as such is not really worth drinking.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an orange amber with a slight off white head. Aroma is of oranges and grapefruit. Mild carbonation in the mouth yields a clean finish. Tastes very much of citrus with minor notes of pine and grapefruit. Such a clean finish on this. Doesnít taste heavy, masks the alcohol very well. Superb Imperial IPA.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy golden orange pour with large off white head. Aroma of malts, citrus, caramel, hops and pine. Taste of caramel, malts, orange peel, hops. Full bodied, medium carbonation, hoppy finish. Aftertaste is soapy and waxey making the rest of the beer unappealing till the next sip, very weird.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at SBWF 2014. Smell of hops, cookies and citrus. Sweet taste of hops with a malt base that moves towards cookies. Like an aged IPA with a nice malt base. Probably allot better when fresh.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Type: 12-oz. bottle
Glass: Stone Ruination IPA pint glass
From: Albertsonís in Alpine, Calif.
Price: $1.67 ($9.99 for a mix 6-pack)
Purchased: Sept. 30, 2014
Consumed: Oct. 4, 2014
Misc.: Bottled on July 7, 2014
Poured an orange, caramel, hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. Calm and serene on the top and underneath. Above average-to-good spiderweb foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Great retention on the top of the glass all the way down. (Sight - 4.33)
Smelled caramel malts up front and then a lot of hops. Got Citra hops, pine, sharp grapefruit, soapy notes, floral hops, spicy Simcoe (I think) hops, faint buttery malts, lime and bitter tangerine rind. Very nice on the nose. (Smell - 4.38)
Taste was a lot more potent than the smell, but in a bad way. More gritty and malty and just stronger. No hiding the 8 percent ABV here. Got boozy grapefruit, Citra hops, wet Cascade hops, soapy pine, lime rind, buttery notes (much stronger than the nose), sharp tangerine juice, caramel, vegetable hops and some floral hops. Reminded me somewhat of a combination of Manzanita Chaotic (one of my favorites) and New Belgium Rampant (one of my I hate you, but I God damn do I still respect you beers). (Taste - 3.91)
Medium body. Creamy-to-oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, buttery, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.80)
This beer was so almost exceptional. I really liked the look and smell, but the taste and feel dropped off. However, I enjoyed it overall and would have more in the future. (Overall - 3.99)

Pale amber pour with a thick tan head. The nose has a bright fruity nose. A touch of soft malt and some nice fruity character. Thereís a bit of pine and light citrus along with some nice tropical notes. A touch of lingering bitterness. Has a touch of fruit as well. Pretty damn nice beer.
