Lovely, peach colored, body had a a little bit of haze when poured, and the two fingered head looked well proportioned atop it. Before bringing the pint glass up to my nose, I could already smell the hops. The aroma was very citric and piney as well. There was a ton of grapefruit on the nose. The taste was also emphasizing citric and tropical, rather than bitter, flavors, with some tangerine, grapefruit, and some guava and passion fruit. The finish was drawn out and drying. The beer was little thinner than typical for the style. I liked this one for being a bit different than typical a DIPA.

330mL bottle at Brewdog Leeds, pours an opaque darkish orange with a small off-white head. Nose is fairly fruity and hoppy, with loads of resinous hops, woody notes and stone fruits. Flavour is fresh and fruity, with lots of fresh stone fruits, resinous hops, and a dry caramely biscuity malt backbone. Very well-balanced, with still a fresh presence of hops. Very nice stuff.

355ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange, with an off-white head. Hoppy, fruity, quite malty aroma, caramel, apricot, spruce, citrus. Dry, medium bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, resiny taste, apricot, spruce, caramel, grapefruit. Enjoyable, put I expected more "oomph" in the hop regime. (2014-06-27)

Bottle. Almost clear deep amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of tangerine, mango, bread, fresh hops and grapefruit. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of tangerine, mango and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. OK.

Bottle (no easily findable best by date). Pours with a deep copper hue and a small, off-white head that fades quickly. Aromas are of crystal malt, iced tea, sweet, lightly oxidized, orange rind, lightly tropical hops. Flavors are fruity, mildly grainy, mildly biscuity, iced tea, orange blossoms, light citrus, tropical, faded. Well hidden alcohol. Quite sweet, medium carbonation.

Bottle from Bottledog, Kings Cross. Hazy amber. Filmy, sticky, white head. Sweet, juicy malt. Dank, ripe, tropical fruit. Thick, mint toffee. Taste is fusty sweet. Round, juicy bitterness. Palate is soft, baggy and chewy. Finish is greasy bitter. That keeps going...

From a 355ml bottle on 27/6/2014. Pours a cloudy very dark golden with a smallish head. Has a pretty big toffee malt aroma with some fruity hops in there as well. Take a sip and it’s very malt forward - lots of sweet caramel and toffee, with a good dollop of sweet citrus, balanced by some nice firm hops, featuring some light grapefruit, resin and spice. Has a lovely mouth feel - the palate is slick and a touch creamy and the carbonation is average. This is a really nice IPA (or DIPA if that’s intended), albeit a rare one where the malt actually holds sway over the hops.

Big ipa in terms of hops. Citrusy and spicy, a perfect combination. Malt backbone stood up enough to not get overpowered completely. Finishes dry.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber orange color with soapy white head. Heavy aroma of caramel, with citrus and pine underneath. Big malt presence on the nose. Great frothy mouthfeel. Sweet caramel taste with a soft hop hit and citrus on the backend. A very interesting brew. Something between 90 minute and a west coast DIPA. Very solid.
