COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our new Pecan Pie Porter no longer uses extract, but rather brown sugar and pecans roasted by friends at The Gallows in Boston. Buddy Hadry, a rep at Bella Vista in PA, gave me the name for this beer, the second Pecan beer now that he has named. Thank you, Buddy!

Bomber from GGroppis. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Drops of lacing lasting for a long time. Aroma has chocolate, roasted malts and nuts. Taste is of sweet chocolate and bitter roasted malts. Dry and fairly smooth. Faint caramel. Finishes bittersweet and dry; somewhat short. Another solid clown shoes effort. More chocolatey and sweet, with a bit more body, would have been killer.

Svart med ett brunt skum. Doft: Rostat, kakao, kola, övermogen frukt, collinstreets julkaka, rostat korn, alkohol. Smak: Kaffe, rostat korn, lakrits, jord, kanderade nötter och återigen julkakan med smält smör åvanpå.

Wish list item bottled in October. Nothin wrong with it but not nearly as good as I’d hoped. A decent chocolaty roasted porter with an additional unidentifiable sweetness that I can also guess was pecan. Didn’t leave much of an impression."

Incredibly good smell of chocolate and coffee. Lovely coffee flavor is what strikes me. Wonderful bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Truly a easy porter to drink. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Luktar lite vanilj och brända nöt toner. Smakar bra. Tydligt nötsmak med lagom sötma. På det hela taget en bra öl. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
