Bottle. Dark cola with a thick khaki head. Aroma is soy sauce, roasted malt and a little cocoa. Taste focuses more on the roasted malt and adds fudge, marshmallow, lots of char and rum barrel sweetness. Rich sticky mouthfeel and moderate carb. Very good.

Bottled November 2013. Pours black with a short lived mocha head. this falls to a etched top with scattered bubbles. Smells smokey, with some graham, some oats, a little coffee and soil. Flavor is metal, smoke, raisin, bitter, bleh. Medium bodied with high carb for the style, dry. Meh, prolly never again.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a black color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee, chocolate and smoke aroma. Medium to heavy toasted chocolate malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet bite finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.

Bomber from EBF. Poured a great thick silky black with a dense beige head. Aroma/flavor is a touch too syrupy, dark rum, sweet sugary alcohol, lots of rotting grapes, rotten fruit, alcohol, grape juice. Meh, its a ight.

22 oz. bottle shared with the group. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, a more subtle smoked character probably because the rum barrel influences which add a nice sweetness to everything, wood, warming alcohol, not much on the flavor, fairly well done ba imperial stout.

Great stout. This brew has the unique flavor and character of the Jamaican rum barrels. Very enjoyable and Im sure better with age.

Bomber from greens. An approachable subtle and smooth ba stout. The rum is very faint but adds a bit of sweetness. The stout is thick and creamy and a bit sweet. Rum is a touch in the aroma and the flavor comes through a little more as it warms.

Great nose of vanilla and spice. poured black with a tan head. has a thin body that lets the barrel finish off strong.

Pours a very dark brown almost black with oil like viscosity and nice khaki colored head. Rum, coconut, oak, vanilla, roasted malts, and a light sweetness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with barrel character and a little sweetness from the rum. Very nice.
