Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus hops.
Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

Aroma of pine and coffee. Dark brown to black with a creamy brown head. Dark burnt malt flavor with coffee, molasses and a substantial hop bitterness. Medium to full bodied, complex with a long bitter finish. Nice balance of flavors. Reminds me of my first home brewed imperial stout, where I got lots of dark grain character but seriously undershot the O.G. and I ended up with an over hopped stout - who knew it would become a style.

Bottle. Pours black. Huge brown head, looks like root beer shake. Some Grapefruit in the aroma, but lots of chocolate. Flavor of roasty coffee with dark chocolate. Large malty and coffee palate. I’m not a huge black IPA fan, but overall this was pretty good.. The 4 pack I picked up was a year old, but its still pretty drinkable. Not sure what if anything its lost, so will be on the lookout for something fresher.

Hoppy Feet pours a very dark brown to black with a thick foamy tan brown head that lasts perhaps a bit too long and is easily agitated. The aroma is pine, dark chocolate and grapefruit. The flavor is dark chocolate and pine with a nutty finish. Overall this is a very nice brew.

Bottle from BottleDog London. Black almost dark brown beer lasting tan head. Grapefruit hop aroma. Some papery chocolate flavour. Bitterness on the finish. It’s a slightly better than usual black ipa buti still struggle to understand why this style exists. Better than most.
