3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
10/7/11. 22oz bottle. Black pour, brown under the light, with a small khaki head. Big hoppy aroma, perhaps a little musty and old, with a touch of coffee. Huge roasty flavor of coffee and dark chocolate with lingering hops and citrus. Not bad!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to Blankboy. Appearance: Deep dark red, thick off white head. Aroma: Nicely hopped, good amount of malt and a hint of cherry. Flavour: Very very bitter, lots of malt too, like chewing on hoppy earth, very leafy and a super dry finish, nice enough.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black brew with a creamy, tan head. Piney hop punch overpowering the roasted malt in the nose. More pine flavor with grapefruit, roast, and nuts. Too thin and subpar overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle. Pours dark brown with fizzy tan head. Aroma of pine and earthy hop with just hints of dark roasted grain. Flavor is much the same with a sharp earthy and piny bitter that lingers. Mouthfeel is medium body with high carbonation and kinda watery. Overall, not bad!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Black with a bit of red trying to look for it with a tan creamy head with good lacing. Very nice hop aroma, pungent resinoyspice pine, dark chocolate roasty malt- you can smell the darkness, nice.Real piney hop taste,a, none in the nose of grafruit, dark chocolate with a clean flat middle almost watery finishing with pine grapefruit and dark malt roast bitterness, A little roastier and dark character than im used to but definatly a huge hop presence for ipa fans.Nuttiness was hard to detect with all the hop.
I like the hop selected character but was a bit much in flavor, but im not complaining i like the flavor. I know ??huh

Bomber. Pours a very dark brown with medium creamy light tan head with sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hops and grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel with a strong hop bite upfront with roast and chocolate and nice bitter finish. A very good Black IPA from Clown Shoes.
