Bottle; poured a black color with a dark khaki colored head. Aroma of earth, fruit, yeast, with a bit of roasted/chalk presence. Flavor had a lot more roasted, smoky and meaty presence. Hops not too present in a positive way. Comes off a bit too harsh and ashy at times.

Almost with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, dusty and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine needles. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 070811

Bomber from Binny’s Buffalo Grove. Pours hazy dark brown with tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, caramel, pine, and a little citrus. Flavors of roasted malts, pine, and caramel. Your average black IPA.

Bottle: Pitch black with rather stable brown head and good lacing. Very big and bold aroma with roasted notes of coffee mixing with licorice, grapefruite and resin. Light sweet taste with a longlasting heavy bitter dry finish. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very comlex beer - kind of overwhelming, but the licorice note just saves my day. Very nice black IPA!

Bottle poured into glass. Dark black pour with a thin off white head. Hoppy aroma with hints of coffee. Flavor was mostly hoppy with slight hints of sweet malt and coffee.
