Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus hops.
Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a dark reddish brown with a lacing off-white head. Fresh citrusy aroma atop a slight roastiness - but the hop dominates. Medium body, roasty and even ashy with first fresh citrusy hops and then an amazingly bitter - almost astringent - finish. Serious stuff. 250711

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, grapefruits, caramel, sugar, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, grapefruits, malt, caramel, and nuts, leading to a bitter and dry finish.

Bomber from State Line. Insert joke about juvenile beer names here. Dark brown pour, slightly oily looking and a sticky cafe au lait head. Nose is fairly soft for the style, with bits of resin and ground bean and some citrus. Mouthfeel is full but not as sticky as I’d anticipated. Flavors are muted overall, with some Hershey w/almonds in there along with espresso, lemon rind, and a nice bitter burst in the finish.

Pours dark brown, opaque, 2 finger beige head, good retention. Aroma is chocolate, marshmallow, biscuit, pine, hint of citrus. Flavor profile is dominated by chocolate and pine resin initially then biscuits and roasty bitterness sets in. Body is medium, creamy, with avg carb, dryish finish. Overall, aroma lacks the hoppy nose of a proper IPA but bitterness (similar to old coffee) somehow still overdominates the palate.

Bomber bottle: Pours black with a thin off-white head that disapears to the perimeter of my glass leaving nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy and roasty. Flavor is roasty and hoppy with hints of coffee. Creamy texture finishes with a mild bitterness.

Dark with a thin white head. Got quit a bit of citrus aroma but the first sip wasn’t al that fruity but after a couple of sips the fruit came out. Really great balance with very little alcohol. Did get the a little chocolate on the finish but the finish is also a bit watery.
