Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus hops.
Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

Dark black pour from a bomber. Strong coffee and chocolate in the aroma with a hint of citrus hops. Roasted malts and kona coffee dominate the flavor. Theres some bitterness and a light hop spiciness at the end. To me, this is a slightly hoppy stout, not a black ipa.

Bottle at KØ16. Bready and vinous aroma. Very dark brown colour, small off-white head. The flavour is vinous, caramelly with a good fruity and grassy hop note. Good mineraly mouthfeel.

Pours a black. Large rocky tan head. Lots of lacing. Fruity hoppy aroma. Very astringent. Lots of patent malt flavor. Not much of a hop flavor.

Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some caramel malty tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste.

Copenhagen 6/5 2016. 35,5 cl bottle (12 oz) from Meny. Fellow enjoying his Hoppy Feet with his feet in the air on the label. Looking very peaceful. Pours very dark brown with huge light beige head. Settles as creamy crown of foam. Several centimeters thick. Lotsa lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet overripe fermented fruit. Peach, mango and a little grape fruit. A little roasted malts in there as well. In addition you get the feeling that it contains a healthy alcohol percentage. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor has subdued sweetness followed by medium to strong bitterness. Aftertaste is not particulary long and medium bitter. Do not know exactly what I expected from a black IPA - but this one is pleasant enough on a sunny afternoon.

Bottle 12oz. Pours dark brown with off white head, good lacing. Aroma of fruits, grapefruit, citrus (oranges), roasted malts, hint of flowers. Sweet taste with notes of sweet fruits, hops and grapefruit. Some bitterness with notes of pine in the aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Aroma is roasted malts with hint of anise, chocolate and pine. Appearance is virtually black but dark ruby red with light source directly behind, finger width creamy beige head with no sparkle and mild lacing. Taste is balance of sweet and bitter roasted malts with light chocolate and hint of anise and pine as in aroma. Palate is medium bodied with light, thin texture, lively carbonation and pleasant roasted bitter finish. Overall, more on the roasted, malty side than a true balance between the sweet malts and the bitter hops. The contribution of the hops is more for bitterness than flavor. Could be a little thicker.

jesperhammer (3994) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2016
30-MAR-2016, bottle @home, from Meny. Dark brown with a high off-white head. Aroma is roast and hops with a clear smoked note as well. Meaty, peated. Taste the same. As it warms or perhaps as I get used to it - the smoke becomes more faint and the malt more obvious. Chocolate. But still also the pine and grape fruit. A tad over carbonated. Smooth, bitter. Very nice.
