3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted at the American Craft Beer Fest in Boston. Pours a dark reddish brown. Best of both worlds for those who like dark beers and IPA’s. Dark malts, some sweetness, plenty of floral hops. Very different, very drinkable.

Mix a nice roast stout with a fairly hopp IPA and this is what you get. Very dark roasted malt taste with exceptional hop profile. Really tasty hybrid type beer.

Thanks to no bottle or expiry date, no idea how old this is. Fuck off Americans, give us dates. Malt, light chocolate and very light coffee, disturbing amount of very sharp citrus fruits. Not really my cup of tea. Light bitter.

Mine is a year old, thanks to a blind build of a six pack on my part. So, I’ll be gentle. Super carbonated Much of the roasty malt, dark chocolate and coffee are gone. Not a ton of hops flavor or bitterness. Still, I see bits of what made this a good one.

Aroma: burnt coffee. Appearance: black coffee. Taste: burnt coffee, burnt toffee, grapefruit, dry. Palate: creamy, smooth, milk stout-ish. Overall: bitter, solid black IPA. Re-rated this a 3.7 from a 3.5...what can I say, I like process & discipline.

Hoppy Feet has been lovingly crafted by combining premium malt with lots of Amarillo and Columbus hops.Grapefruit and Pine are balanced on the nose and on the palate by a nutty, dark chocolate, roasted backbone.

33 cl. bottle at home. High and creamy lasting light brown head. Clear very dark ruby body. Solid malt base with cocoa, caramel nuts results in a rather sweet aroma. The flavor is, however, not as sweet as indicated by the aroma as the beer has a good deal of hops bitterness on top of the heavily roasted malt caramel and nuts base. Low caronation. Long bitter finish. Well balanced with an alcohol level nicely hitten by the bitter and sweet notes.
