We kept this one simple, used water, malt, hops, yeast, and made it the kind of beer that will help you, when your (real or imaginary) people are tired, thirsty, hungry, enslave, to step forward and state with authority: Let my people go!

22oz bottle, bottled on 08/2012. Deep copper color. Thick tan foam, nice lacing. Aroma of Brett, spicy rye, and bubblegum. Very interesting nose, wild yeast scent for sure. Caramel malt, notes of honey, nice pine hops, some herbal notes, and dry earthiness. Spicy, peppery tingle in the finish is either the presence of rye or wild yeast strain. A very nice APA. (3641)

(22oz bomber) clear medium amber, wispy fine white bubbles. Nose of brett, urinal, funky, light cat piss, very unusual. Taste of brett, florals, bit woody, potpourri, soapy, weird linger.

How good could a pale ale be with its rich malty sweet but above all, nutty body? Uhhh. It looks good. Taste, not so much. Too nutty and sweet.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 22 oz bottle. Pours a medium amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma of bread and caramel malts and floral hops. Taste is just like the nose but with a very thin body. Too watery. Very dry. Definitely not in my top favs for Clown Shoes. I would let my people go so they didnt have to drink this again.

Dark golden/amber, foamy white head. Light aroma of bread, hops, caramel. Taste of creamy caramel, malty milk, light bitter from earthy hops.

Pours a darker golden color. Aroma is of malts, malt vinegar, yeast, cloves, and a little metallic smell. Medium bodied. Flavors that I get in this bad boy are malts, hops, some aluminum, yeast, cloves, coriander, and a little bread. Leaves a bitter malt finish. Im not too big on this one. It almost seems to me like they tried to make a Belgian style pale ale. Swing and a miss.

Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a cloudy golden brown color with a light layer of foamy white head. Flavor is a bit sweet, woody, and dark sugar. Finishes dry and semi sweet.

January 26, 2013 - bottle from AV3. Light brown pour with big head and a nice amount lasted. Aroma was malt and hops, maybe some caramel or fruit in there as well. Taste was a little bit sweet malty and caramel up front and then went into an earthy and somewhat noticeable citrus bitterness. The aftertaste was kinda funky though, minus that part it was a decent brew.

Bottle from total Wine in Tampa. Good amount of head. Smooth mouthfeel, bottled August 2012, but a little skunky. Likely why there were so many bottles of this and their IPA around the USA.

Bomber: Almost mahogany pour with a medium off white head. aroma is caramel, cardboard, some woody herbal hop. light fruitiness. Flavour is light fruitiness, medium maltiness, very little of that herbal hop profile comes through in the flavour. Light bitterness towards the finish, overall pretty disappointing.
