22oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of toasted and caramel malts, some dough, and floral and citrusy hops. Flavor about the same, with a good amount of malts. Average texture. A pretty malty version of pale ale, whereas I’d prefer it to be hoppier.

This outstanding ale is medium to full bodied. It is amber in color with a nice head. Its strength is in the wonderful malt tastes. The hops are substantial and well balanced with the malt. Overall, this is an excellent ale.

Conyers, Ga. - Sigman Bottle Shop - 22 oz bomber. Hazy dark orange pour, slight snow white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Aroma is perfume-like and sweet with some candy fruit essence to it. Flavor is similar in nature withe some artificial candy-like fruitiness, a hint of molasses, some cotton candy. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Not quite cloying, but would gave been happy with only 12 oz of this,

bottle. murky amber with a small head. dusty, tart, bretty aroma with crystal malt. light bodied and dry. its been inoculated with brett, so bootsy collins funky flavas dominate. think rayon vert with a healthy dose of mid range crystal malt. i like it. could also be listed under belgian ale.

Listed on the menu as an English Pale Ale. Given the lack of hop character, this seemed a more apropos categorization. Pours a slightly hazy dirty brown with light head. Scent is non-descript grain and slightly sweet. Taste matches scent. Light medium body with decent amount of carbonation. Draft - Argosy - Atlanta, GA

22 ounce bottle - $4.99 at Bullock’s Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia.

The little white box on the label where I would expect a bottle date is left blank.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazed, amber-gold body with a tallish, lightly yellow head. Adequate lacework.

Smell: Spicy, sweetish, fruity, lightly earthy nose. Toasted onion rolls, cooked orchard fruits dosed with spices and sugars. A bit different.

Taste: Toasty pale malts, with touches of biscuit and bread crust. Moderate light brown sugar sweetness. Apricot and apple fruitiness. Spicy hops, lightly earthy, with some herbal tones with an edge of mint leaf. The toastiness, the brown sugar qualities never quite drop out, leaving a bittersweet, soft finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-level, gentle carbonation.

Overall: It’s good, albeit not your run-of-the-mill pale ale, so, I can see many people not quite digging it..

22oz bottle 6/18/13 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Lager Glas-Pours a hazy amber with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of malt, hops, and root beer. Taste of malt, root beer, light cocoa, and bitterness. This medium bodied brew is different but not sure because of the bottlint date(9/12) or the product.
