3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, bottled 2/2012.
Almost black with a large tan head. Weak aroma with some hops, licorice and light roasted malt. Taste of mostly malt, also some licorice and light notes of hops. Drinkable but an old bottle with a light mouthfeel.

@Eddan: flaskan är nog lite trött men det fins tydliga drag mot en Black IPA. Svag humle och små lakritstoner. Eftersmaken ger mig en nötig känsla.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bottle. Black colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Intense hoppy aroma with a piney touch, chocolately dark malty background. Taste is initially bitter hoppy, later dark malty notes with a touch of coffee come into foreground, dry finish. Seperated hop and malt notes which at no point combine to a united, uniform taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Fischman’s. Pours a foamy dark black with a root beer float head - naturally with foamy lacing. Quite opaque after settling. Aroma has dark patent malts, some chocolate and some citrus. Further through the glass there is more of a grassy hop/orange peel presence. Taste is of big roast flavor and sweet chocolate, with more subtle hoppiness. More a porter than a black ipa? Finishes sweetly bitter. 2/2012 bottle date may have killed more of the initial hop presence. A solid drinker with some taste.

Thanks for sharing Sebastian! Pours a dark brown with orange highlights. Smell is dark roasted malt, mild licorice. Taste is roasted malt, spice, piney hops with a dry finish. Active carbonation...a bit too much and light body. Not too exciting but also not too bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle pours almost black with thin tan ring. Aroma malts with licorice, roast and cocoa. Taste mundane with caramel and roast. Finish bitter with roast and some hops - tough to call this an IPA. Palate thin . Just OK.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours dark black with a huge tan head. Overcarbonated from the loos of it. The nose is roasted coffee, nuts, flour and resin. The taste is sweet with a good amount of bitter. The mouthfeel is like pop rocks. To much carbonation. The body is light, the finish is medium., It’s ok.

Opaque black beer, good pale tan head. Softish palate. Nice fine carbonation. Medium dark malt with super mild roast. Bitterish pine with subtle red berry fruits. Nice black IPA, very drinkable without being spectacular.
