From a 355ml bottle on 20/6/2013. Pours a relatively clear golden with a smallish to medium head. Has a moderate but nice floral, fruity aroma. In the mouth, you get mild caramel malt, lots of sweet fruit and orange marmalade, followed by a firm, slightly tangy and peppery citrus hop finish. The body and carbonation are medium. This is relatively constrained by IPA standards but is well balanced, well made and very enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a nice dark copper/orange with some head. Decent aroma and flavor, has a bit of a juicy taste to it. This was a weird beer actually, was it really orange or what did I taste? Maybe I’ll try it again but it wasn’t cheap for a 4-pack.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2013 12 oz bottle 9ours a clear amber color with decent white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is as expected: caramel malts, citrus and floral hops. Taste is initially sweet with the earthy citrus hops coming out a bit in the finish. Medim body with average carbonation and a slighly stick mouthfeel. There’s nothing to dislike about this, yet is is not one of the great IPAs.

Pours a crystal clear medium golden color with a decent white head that persists for a bit before leaving a fair amount of lace on the way down. Smells of earthy citrus hops with a solid bready caramel malt to back it up. Solid sweet sugary malt background never dissipates balancing the earthy citrus a bit too much. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Not a bad IPA, certainly nothing flawed here, but just a bit boring in today’s market.

Bottle. Pour is dark golden, bright white head that leaves lacing. Aroma is citrus, lemon, cereal and wheat like malt, and light honey sweet. Taste is sweet cereal with lemony kiss if bitter, some vanilla, maybe caramel, light alcohol.

330mL bottle. Pours clear golden with a small white head and a light sweet white nectarine like aroma. Alot of citrus or specifically grapefruit in the flavour with an assertive bitterness. Very nice beer.. worth a shot for sure.

Bottle. Amber with an inch of white head that lasts well. Aroma of tropical fruit, soap, caramel, vague citrus. The citrus flavours are brighter in the mouth. Sweet with mango, biscuit, caramel. No particular finish, although some pepper emerges. Modest bitterness. A bit of a muddle.

Tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a clear orange appearance with a white head. Chewy, goopy sweet malty, a bit spicy, grapefruity hoppy aroma that kind of smells a bit sweet. Citrusy, chewy, toasty, goopy malty, herbal hoppy flavor. Not a big fan of this.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark orange red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice grapefruit juice, biscuit, bread hints of grass, pine, nice lemon peel, dry honey. Taste is a mix of nice lemon, biscuit, bread, hints of nice grapefruit, hints of grass, finishing bitter, dry. Nice brew.
