3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Grapefruit and lots of it in the nose. Also a bit of grain. Palate has bite and juicy hops, but works, don’t end up too dry or overwhelmed. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Orange-amber, quite still, virtually no visible carbonation. But the sticky head is resilient. The again, this is darker than you might think and light struggles to penetrate. The beer drinks with that sticky mouthfeel you get from really hoppy beers ... I might design a fly trap. Piney, acidic, slightly metallic. The west coast guys wouldn’t rave, but this is a sturdy example of an American/Anglo blend. Enjoyable. (#4783, 9/15/2012)

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear orange color with a foamy off white head. Smells and tastes of hops. Nice dry bitter finish. Label is pretty sick too.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Cloudy yellow orange color, fluffy white head. Aroma of puneapple, lemon, grass. Taste is slightly sour pineapple, scallions, citruss. An odd combination.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Strong aroma is quite hoppy with an undertone of grapefruit. It pours a nice clear amber with a fairly thick pale wheat head. Flavor is typically hoppy, not at all bitter, with malty and citrus hints. Body leaves something to be desired, but not the lively fizz. If not a miraculous IPA, worth at least a try.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Copper color with a large and foamy light tan head. Balanced, lightly sweet. Hoppy, but not bitter. For an IPA, very light and drinkable. This would make quite a good session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I am not one who say that every beer must be "balanced". This one has a lot of pine and citrus, and just a wee bit of malt character. So, yeah, pretty unbalanced. I still kinda liked it...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bottle from Binny’s Plainfield. Pours a hazed copper colored body with an inch thick, dense and foamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is sweet oranges and caramels with a touch of bready toast. Some florals and a light dull pine. Flavor is similar. Bready caramels with sweet oranges, dull pines, and florals. Touches of toast towards the end as this finishes bitter with dull pines and citruses before this dries and leaves a lengthy aftertaste. Medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty lifeless IPA that didn’t taste very fresh. Eh...
