4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bomber from Specs in a tulip / Pours a reverent Angel Gold hue / Aroma of Fall leaves after an afternoon shower laced with eucalyptus / stiff head yet pillowy and creamy, two fingers / Bold upfront leads to a cloying but serious center of astute Belgian heritage followed by a building wave of 2x IPA !!!!! This is the mastery hidden in this brew / Long lingering finish very clean and settling as a new born baby nestled in its mothers bosom. A Favorite Forever. Bravo Ipswich.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Hazy medium golden colour, average white head. Pale malts of medium sweetness, a touch of floral honey, lightly spicy, with a kiss of floral hops. Not a hint of the 10% ABV. Nicer than I expected actually.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle pour hazy orange. Nose interesting mix of fruity and pine hop mixed with banana, clove, and spice. Taste, bitter bite up front, some tannic bitter, then mid palate candy sweet. Late palate Belgian spice and light bitter finish. Nice progression of flavors.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
I have really enjoyed a handful of other Clown Shoes beers, and was really thinking they would do something unique ith this style. No balance here. At 10% abv, the alcohol is really dominating on the palate.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very cloudy deep orange, offwhite head that’s very short. Very fragrant - scent of juicy citrus hops and belgian yeast, bready, sweet and a little bubblegum and rye. Tingly mouthfeel, lively carbonation, oily finish. Flavors of citrus and pine hops, bitter cloves with belgian yeast and rye maybe. Somewhat disconnected between the belgian and IPA. Nothing bad at all, just nothing groundbreaking.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at craft ale house. Pours clear copper with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a lot of belgian yeast, orange peel, and a lot of floral notes. The taste is light bitter, big orange juice, lemon juice, slight peppery finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy orangey copper, like a new penny. This is all hops, from the nose to the palate and to the finish. Bright citrus hops! The 10% abv is apparent from the first sip!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Heavy hitter with Belgian elements of citrus, raisin, dough, and some floral hops in there as well. This work; it is big; it will hurt you. serving size: 22oz split bomber.
