Bomber. Opaque yellow orange, off-white lasting foam. Pungent fruity yeasty aroma. Strong bitter fruity yeasty taste, moderately malty, some orange zest, spicy. Softer carbonation, medium-full bodied, well hopped. Overpriced. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

This smells like a sticky monster and it is. In the best use of the word. Sweet with some hot hoppiness. Definitely Belgian yeast flavors in here. The 10.5% abv is not hidden and I consider this a feature. Diggin it. Good stuff.

Dark golden colour & thick white head. Belgium yeast and maltiness on the nose. Candy notes & light stone fruit flavours give way to some burnt taste & alcohol in the finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma is grapefruit, passionfruit, pineapple, apple juice, straw and lemon grass. Taste is sweet light malts, honey, caramel, dark fruits and yeast. The bitterness is fabulously balanced and full bodied with an earthiness, clove, light tanin, and lemon grass finish. Very slight tanin on the tip to finish. Appearance is a hazy gold/amber body with a thin pearl head that retains well.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Look: pours a dark Orange. White head. Slight haze to it.
Smell: fruity. Orange. Slight vinegar taste. Slight banana. Bready
Taste: vinegar. Bready. Bitterness.
Feel: bitter finish like a Belgian should. Not my style of IPA.
Overall: not what I like to drink. Feels butter just to be bitter not really adding flavor.
First drank: home 2/23/15

Bottle @ home. Pours clear amber with a large, light beige head. Hoppy and somewhat spicy aroma with notes of resinous pine apple, oranges, malt, caramel. Medium to big bodied with high carbonation. Quite crisp with flavors of orange, peach, straw berries, biscuits, toffee and alcohol. Some light background spices. Intense bitterness. Aftertaste has some yeast notes and almonds along with lingering resinous pine apple.

Triple with a not of spiciness to it, less flowery. Darker in color also, minimal head, but long lasting. Malt also more evident, savory finish.
