3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bottle. Pours a cloudy bright orange color with a thick white head that retains well, leaving a sheet of lacing. Citrusy hop nose with orange rind and a hint of spice along with a faint funk. Taste has a nice hoppy bite up front with plenty of citrus, lots of orange and grapefruit. Belgian yeast and slight funkiness towards the middle with mild spice, light caramel sweetness and apricot. Finishes bitter and dry. Medium body, moderate carbonation, that is lingering and sticky on the tongue, and slightly creamy.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden color with a thin white head. Nose of hop resin and spicey yeast. This is am odd mix of hop resin and citrus hops and banana clove spice. Strong yeast flavor with strong hops. Odd mix.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a dark caramel color with a small foamy orange-white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was faint sugar and golden fruits. The flavor was dryish, tangy and boozy with notes of table sugar, candied pear, apricot, pepper and a yeasty and astringent undertone. Turns dry towards the long finish of table sugar, booze, pear and pepper. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a murky, dark gold; white head with good lacing. Piney and dank hop aromas dominate but Belgian yeast does come through; slightly musty. Sweet, tropical hops mesh with yeast phenolics and a soft, bitter finish. Full bodied, medium carbonation.

Bottle, bottled 12/2011.
Clear amber with a creay white head. Aroma of hops, some pineapple and light spices. Taste of some "soap", hops, spices and fruit. Descent despite the old bottle.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
@Eddan: trevlig doft av sedvanlig belgisk karaktär plus en hel del citrus. Smaken har en fin balans och känns färsk trots en lite äldre flaska. Mycket trevlig.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A well-flavored, citrusy IPA. I don't really get the "candied fruit" flavor, it seems to have the grapefruity tone common to many IPAs. Beautiful cloudy amber color, thick white head, and a crisp mouthfeel.

On tap. Hazy golden with a creamy white head. Sweet grainy citrus and caramel aroma and taste with a big grassy bitter bite and a nice velvety creamy palate. Pretty good.
