22 oz bottle pours a cloudy orange.amber color with a slight white head and some lacing. Smells like an IIPA. Tastes like an IIPA. Aroma is full of cararmel malts and floral hops, without the Belgian yeast I was expecting. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky, body is medium, and carbonation is average or below. Taste is initially sweet until the ho[s kick in for a quick finish which is drier. Alcohol is well hidden. A very good beer no matter how you classify it.

Bottle. Clear golden pour, tiny white head. Floral head, taste is fruity with an abrupt bitter finish. Full body, soft carbonation.

Big bottle to little snifter. Cloudy honey in the glass. Stiff bubbly head. Orange and coriander on the nose. Nice orange citrus carried through to a malty dry finish. Bright and boozy enough to warm my cockles.

Poured into a snifter. 3.25 A: Murky copper color. Two fingers of off-white creamy/frothy head. Retention is good and a short ring of lacing is left. 3.0 S: Quite sugary. Cake frosting, peach, lemon. Lots of citrusy and grassy hoppiness. Yeasty breadiness, banana chips, and something quite distinct that my mind canít identify right now - something like a persimmon. Also a touch of vegetal aroma. 3.0 T: The taste has no real focus. Itís moderately bitter and the predominant flavor is yeastiness. Thereís peach, lemon, and banana fruitiness, but thereís also a lack of tripel spiciness. Less sugary than nose, but still there. Bready and biscuity. 3.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Chewy, but lacking spritziness or creaminess, which is what I like in the style. 2.75 D: Eh, itís okay, but it doesnít work well as either an IPA or a tripel. ★ 880 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 18, 2015

Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a huge head that dissipates to a thin layer with excellent lacing. Aromas of toffee and herbs. Flavors of sweet malt--stone fruits, toffee, black pepper, fresh bread and herbal hops. Lingering bitterness. Noticeable booziness. Sticky mouthfeel. Very nice.

Great flavors of candied fruits, candi sugar, citrus fruits and citrus hops. Overall a nice hoppy tripel that doesn?t seem as big as it is... But welcome to Belgian beers.

Bottle, 650ml. Murky golden/amber with a frothy offwhite head. Deep citrus and belgian yeast aromas. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Lightly sweet with a dense fruity and alcohol bitterness. Heavy and complex. Barely any IPA elements other than a light hopiness. A fine ale

Bottled 06.04.15. Light golden color, with a faint copper/honey hue. Frothy, creamy white head. Strong AM hoppy aroma, melon, light fruit, floral, pine. Cane sugar, residual sweetness, moderately low Belgian type yeast character. Alcohol presence is noticeable but complimentary to a bready type malt profile. Very clean fermx profile. Pine type slickness blends well with a creamy yeast character down the palate. Moderately high in dryness on backend, co2 astringent bite is low, lingers with a leafy, medicinal hop feel. Very enjoyable, especially considering age. Orange marmalade to a tee.

650ml bottle from Sonoma Cellars, cellar aged 8 months and served at cellar temperature. Pours an unclear golden orange with a beige head leaving very little lace. Aroma has sweet malts, tangy belgian yeast, and some fruits. Taste is of sweet caramel, spices, a bit of pine, some oranges, and tangy belgian yeast. Medium bodied with some alcohol. Finishes sweetly tangy with some length. Not the brew to begin an evening with. 13.2

22 oz bottle. Bottled on 6/4/15. (Food Pantry) Honolulu, HI.
My rating #9,000. Hazy yellow color with a small white head. Nice fruity hops, orange, yeast, wheat and malt in a fresh aroma. The flavor is dry hops, yeast, wheat, mild bitterness, alcohol and some spices. Balanced and tasty. And the label seems to be me and my wife on our honeymoon walking at the Waikīkī Beach...

Rating #1181 - 15.07.2014 Bottle from CBI. Clear golden pour with a giant head with decent retention. Gorgeous, tropical aroma billows out - pineapple, mango, passionfruit. Taste is definitely full bodied, good yeast character, and just enough spice to be pleasant and refreshing. Generously hopped, assertive bitterness. Phenomenal blend of the tripel and IPA styles.
