22oz bottle from Binny’s in Plainfield. Pours a cloudy, deeper orange, gold tinted body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is candied and sweet oranges and grapefruits with a mix of florals, herbs, and light pines. Fairly sweet pale malt backing with a slightly bready Belgian yeast as well as a touch of caramel. A bit of a dried tropical fruit mix. Flavor is similar. Fruity and sweet up front with some candied oranges and pineapples, grapefruits, and dried tropical fruits. Belgian yeast comes in during the middle with a bit of a doughy note. Sweeter pale malt backing with a touch of caramel again before the sweet mix of florals, pines, and herbal hops come out more at the end and this finishes pretty dry and fairly bitter. Pines stick out with a few resins in a fruity, sweeter, lengthy aftertaste. Medium body with a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid Belgian DIPA. Lots of fruity hops with a nice bitterness and a good amount of Belgian yeast balanced with a sweeter pale malt and a touch of caramel. Nice beer.

Macon, Ga. - Wine Styles Liquor Store - 22 oz bomber. Pours a very murky dark orange with a sticky white head, light lacing. Slightly funky aroma that mellows as it settles. Pick up some flowery accents, some citrus notes, some fruit marmalade. Flavor is full-bodied and tasty. Some nectarine-like fruitiness appears, some Belgian candi sugar notes, some yeasty notes and some citrusy bitter notes. Thick, rich mouthfeel.

Pours a light amber with some white head. Aroma is mostly Belgian yeast esters with some clove spices and tangerine citrus. Flavor is very smooth and warming. Clove spices are present throughout as well as some slightly bitter hop profiles. There is also a hoppy caramel sweetness that comes through on the back of the palate. Very satisfying beer.

Oh I love the belgian yeast. Intense candy-cane nose, with a bit of spice and belgian sour yeast funk. Appearance is nice too, amber, 1 finger head, thick retention, heavy lacing. Palate is big, in your face, complex. Mostly all up front. All at once it is creamy, hoppy, sweet, peppery, but then at the end it is dry and hoppy again. Really cool unique awesome stuff.

Bottle from Total Wine Ft. Lauderdale. Pours out an attractive orange/amber color with a moderate, mostly white head. Aroma is of tropical fruits, slightly funky Belgian yeast, grass and a hint of some spice. Taste is of tropical fruits, tangerine, hoppy citrus notes, light pear, yeast, and a decent bitterness slightly mixes with a little heat from the abv on the finish, but definitely a well hidden ABV. Another tasty beer from Clown Shoes...come to NJ already!

Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is sugary, Belgain yeast and a citrus fruit. Flavor is the same a nice overall Belgain yeast with a little grassy hop and citrus fruit. Almost the same as the beer "tramp stamp" by this brewer but equally tasty.

The beer pours a yellow-orange color with a large white head. The aroma is quite floral and candy-like, with some pine and orange citrus notes, as well as some biscuit malt notes. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of floral and orange notes from the hops, along with some pine, Belgian yeast and biscuit malt. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
