COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is Blaecorn Unidragon made with Beechwood Smoked malt, which adds a natural meaty note (there is no actual meat in the brew). Aged 100% in bourbon barrels. Little piggies run, squeal to the heavens: Clown Shoes wishes you luck.

Bomber from Imbibe Wine. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, oak, and a hint of smoke. Black with a medium tan head which dissipates quickly. Flavor is lightly sweet, smoky beef jerky with some white pepper, chocolate, and a hint of bitter . Finishes with light alcohol. Nose is not very strong, but it tastes great.

Bomber. Pours deep black with no head. Nose of burnt malts, some barrel. Taste is full of alcohol, very dry and bitter, but smooth going down. Nice.

Black, with a cream-colored head. The aroma is amazing... like a cross between cherries, wooden clogs, funnel cakes, a mocha coffee, and sugar cookie dough. I love it! The flavor is more or less the same, but with more of a roasted malt bitterness. Alcohol sticks its butt out. It’s almost numbing. It’s time to admit that the Bourbon barrels have really blended well with the beer. It’s not in-the- face with Bourbon (like most Bourbon-barrel beers are), and it definitely shows its perfect balance of ingredients strictly by its ability to pull off the very furious resulting flavor. Good job!

Love the balance of aromas and flavors -- chocolate, coffee, toffee, vanilla, smoke and oak. Delish.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Snifter. Oily black pour with a tan head. Runny lace. Very sweet black malt flavors. Coffee. Chocolate. Charcoal grill. Rotted red fruit. Beachwood smoke. Vanilla bourbon. Caramel covered cinders. Heady alcohol barrel flavors are overpowering. This brew is big but the mix is off. Needs to find a better balance between these strong components. Right now feels like a one two sucker punk, when it should be a subtler knockdown. This could be a brilliant beer if more work was put into it. Right now it is too unpurposefully harsh and conflictive to recommend. Please refine this beer!

Bottle from Jared, dark black pour with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, quite a bit of wood and quite a bit of booze. Taste is a bit of barrel and tons of booze, way to hot for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle.
Pours a deep, rich black with a nose of coffee grounded in chocolate powder and oaky goo. Flavor is typical above-average coffee-infused cocoa and fudge, with a slight oak and bourbon essence in the finish. Thick and chunky on the tongue. Nothing to shout about; I’ve had this beer many times before.

Bomber. Pours an opaque stouty brown-black, medium espresso head that dissipated quickly, nice lacing though. Nose is fat with bourbon barrel, toffee and brown sugar, dried fruit (mainly dates and raisins). Mouth is oily with boozy barrel and caraemlly sugars up front, dark roast, coffee and some smoky soot on the mid, finishes out with a malty and ABV warmth. Solid.

Tap at the Hay Merchant, Houston, 21/05/13. Mid black with a thin tan head. Nose is dark malt, boozey hit, sugars, dark toffee, light smoke. Taste comprises roast malt, wood, liqourice, dark chocolate, sugars, aniseed, bourbon notes. Full bodied with warming alchocol in a bitter roasted booze’o’clock curtain call. Decent enough Impy stout but a little over boozey, the balance isn’t quite there but I enjoyed this more than the standard Blaecorn, the BA seems to have tempered some of the booze.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2014 Poured in goblet from 22oz bottle. Dark color, minimal head, good aroma, reminds me of coffee and chocolate. Taste is smooth for a BA stout. Overall good beer, not too much of a burn at the end
