Bottle. Pours murky orange with nice frothy white head that lingers. Citrusy aroma over mild carbonation. Some complexity in the citrus flavor with nice malt balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep rich honey and golden coloured body with a nice light tan head, about a centimetre tall. Aroma of fresh hops, alcohol, light sugars from fruit and a bit of tropical esters - likely from the yeast. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malty flavours couple with the fresh fruity hops and a good dose of alcohol thrown in the mix as well, finishing with some light honey sweetness. Aftertaste is robust and rounded with a lot of malt and some nice hops as well, of course. Overall, a well-balanced and strong Imperial IPA with tropical notes and some honey sweetness coming through at the end - worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (P Street, Logan Circle), DC on 28-June-2015 for US$6,99 sampled in my hotel room in Alexandria, Virginia on 29-August-2015.

A nice hoppy aroma, not very fruity. Clear pale liquid. Well balanced sweetness and bitterness - a long medium bitter dry finish. Average carbonation. Recommendable double IPA!

Playing Russian roulette with an undated bottle, I took a chance. Paid off. Poured orange-y, white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and some pine. Taste is bitter and a tad sweet. Flavors of canary melon, some pine sap. Pretty pleasing, with a good tropical hop expression. I like this, but would not buy locally again without dated bottles...donít want to press my luck.

Bottled, no clear date. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma is very malty. This is not a fresh IPA. So with that in mind, here we go. Aroma is malty, caramel, dank hops, citrus, orange, mango, light tropical fruit remnants. Flavor is sweet caramel, malt sweetness, hop sweetness, orange, tangerine, light mango and papaya. Light hop bitterness. Itís not very old, but itís definitely past its best-by date. If I ever see this one again when its fresh Iíll def. go for it, because I think itíd be really good.

Extremely good. Bomber. Shared with Wally (Untappd) after a lengthy paddle on the Oak Orchard River. Plenty of tangerine up top. A clean malty palate booze is not completely hidden but well integrated.

n tap at the Old Toad with Joe and Dan H. Pours a hazy orangey copper with a nice sized white head that has decent lace up the glass. Aroma is floral, tropical fruits and some sweet pale malts. Flavor is tropical fruits, medium bitterness, lightly medicinal, sweet pale malts and lightly spicy with a dry finish. Good Stuff!
