3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Color is brownish-orange. Aroma is pineapple and other tropical fruit. Taste is pineapple and other tropical fruits, citrus hops and a nice malt backbone. The ABV isn’t apparent at all. The tropical fruit aroma and taste is really prevalent, quite unique. An excellent DIPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at VilleValla Pub. Clear light amber liquid with a small to medium off-white head. Aroma of mango, pine, lemon peel, grain, weed and light caramel. Taste is light sweet and medium to high bitter with notes of mango, pine, light caramel and light salt. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty nice if a bit too malty for my taste.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy gold with white head and some lacing. Great aroma of powerful melon, citrus, and grass. Taste is the same with a hint of pine. Taste is not as impressive as the aroma, but still worth buying over and over again. Great brew.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a beautiful slights hazy orange with a lively whipped egg white head. Taste is very west coast IIPA, and well done: grapefruit, resin, moderate sweetness. Delicious.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A solid IIPA that has great citrus characteristics yet doesn't lose the bite. One of their better beers

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep golden color. Frothy white head. A lot of stone fruit with big malty profile. The mouth is super bready with tons of tropical and stone fruit. Much more malty IIPA but really enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled 3/25/14. Pours a clear caramel with a one finger, off white head. Aroma is still pleasant with great notes of pine, resin, bread, caramel, and mild tropical fruits (pineapple), stonefruits, and citrus. Taste is sweeter but not cloying. Bread, caramel, alcohol, resin, pine, hints of citrus, and a drawn out, warm alcohol ending. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation. Mildly resinous texture in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall pretty good considering the age of the bottle. Nice bread, pine, resin, and citrus notes over a dry, resiny mouth feel.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber, wine glass. Promising start: first dipa in a long time that doesn’t maltify 30 seconds after opening. Spicy lemony aroma, persistent fluffy white head. It’s cold so first taste a bit muted but definitely nicely balanced. Hallelujah this beer is still fresh-ish! Sticky caramel matches sticky lacing. Taste not as hoppy as smell but the hoppy citrus aroma is lasting. Mango pineapple lemon lime grapefruit. Not perfect but it is great for being almost 2 months old.

Poured an orangeish, caramel color with four fingers of khaki-white, rocky head. Lots of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Very good spiderweb foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Great retention on the top. (Sight -
Smelled pungent grapefruit, Citra hops, floral hops, orange juice, nectarine, tropical hops, mango, peach, Amarillo hops, faint pineapple, Cascade hops and lime zest. Great on the nose. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted good, but not as good as the nose. Got orange creamscicle, wet Cascade hops, floral hops, Citra hops, nectarine, mango, peach, tropical hops, tangerine, faint pineapple, lime and some pine. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Bitter, fruity finish. (Feel - 3.88)
I really liked this double IPA. I’m 2-for-2 on Clown Shoes so far. This was a good beer. (Overall - 4.13)
