Very malty aroma leads into a boozy malty vaguely bitter flavor. I find the flavors rather harsh and overly boozy. Where are the hops???

Pours a hazy golden orange with a thick, tight-bubbled eggshell head. Nose involves mango, cake frosting, some dustiness, some citrus. Pretty sweet, quite bitter. Heavier body, oily, a bit grainy, with a lengthy hoppy finish. Tasty brew, on the sweet and heavy side, but has a good amount of hops to keep it together.

Bottle. Tons of cat pee/tropical hops in the nose with some faint orange accent and malt. Hazy dark copper under a persistent, white cover. Flavour starts with some tropical and cat pee and develops into bitter and slight malt.

Bomber from Savor Growl. Dark orange pour with a sturdy white head. Aroma is bready, candy, floral, citrus, pine. Tastes are sweet malt, pine, grass, lots of citrus - pineapple, tangerine, orange, grapefruit. Good balance - covers the alcohol well. Pretty awesome.

Bomber shared at Pauls. Poured an orange body, clear, syrupy, smaller foamy off white head. Aroma of booze, hop juice, bad oranges, citrus rind. Flavor of light booze, bad citrus meat, hop juice, grass, wet bread. Perfect palate, lightly syrupy, stronger carbonation.

Color is brownish-orange. Aroma is pineapple and other tropical fruit. Taste is pineapple and other tropical fruits, citrus hops and a nice malt backbone. The ABV isn’t apparent at all. The tropical fruit aroma and taste is really prevalent, quite unique. An excellent DIPA.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
What a great beer. Hazy yellow/orange brew with a white head. Aromas of zesty citrus, pine needles, and some fresh dough. Tastes of lemon/orange citrus zest, chewy malts, grapefruit, moderate amounts of pine/floral hops, and something distinctly... cupcake-like. Bittersweet finish. Not a hop bomb, much sweeter than I thought it would be. Cake/cupcake flavors are nice and don’t overpower the hop forward flavors, rather it is a nice complement. Surprisingly easy to drink and delicious. Fantastic brew.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
New copper color with a slight haze. Pours with a 1 inch head that holds pleasantly through the pint. Aroma has a complex malt backbone with lots of acidity. The flavor has a rich hoppy citrus character backed by a smooth malty backbone. The palate is rich and acidic and has a lingering fizz. Another top notch ale by Clown Shoes.

Caramel, citrus, pine, and a little alcohol in the aroma. Flavor starts fruity and bitter, with grapefruit and pine. More of the same in the finish, with a little peppery spice and some drying alcohol. Really good.
