3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
650 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy orange amber colour with a minimal white head. Aroma of pale malts, grass, floral hops and gooseberries. Flavour of gooseberry bush, biscuit, sweet caramel, straw and floral hops. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a rough, bitter, grassy and sweet finish. Clearly not in itís best shape anymore as this is way too sweet.

650ml bottle from Bierkompass
Bottle 1/2012 -
Pours dark orange with a foamy head. Aroma of aged hops, caramel malts, some sugary sweetness. Taste is quite sweet and malty with some aged fruity hops and berries. Finish is slightly hoppy with some fruitiness and berry notes. Hoppy and sweet IPA, but unfortunately the bottle wasnít very fresh.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear copper color with lots of bubbles. White head laces like a blanket. Strong aroma of barley malt and floral hops. Flavor is same but more malty than hoppy. This may appeal to some, but not me. Nonetheless (all one word) itís a good beer bordering on greatness.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy gold with a small white top. Aroma is strong citrus hops and the sweetness balance of the malts. Taste is big citrus hops, nicely balanced but definitely leans towards the hop. Which I like

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: 22 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a hazy deep orange with a thick, well sustained, off white head. Nice looking brew if nothing else. The nose has substantial dank notes with a bit of pine and resin thrown in. The flavor seems to be on lighter side of the IPA world. There is a solid bitterness, but only mild herbal and pine hops flavor wise. The malt adds a medium body but doesnít really express itself. The pine seems to come a little more alive on the finish which lingers quite a bit.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at good beer. Nice juicy aroma on a dry west coast style ipa. A little sharp in the finish. Not bad but not a favorite.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
If this is too cold it the booze really comes through and the flavors are all out of whack. Once it warms up they start to blend and the hops are citrusy and the malts are caramelly and candy sweet. In the end itís above average but requires too much effort.
