22 oz bottle pours a nice orange/amber color with a medium white head. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, pine. Medium bodied, with a nice bitter hoppy finish

Pours a beautiful clear copper with a fairly thick, though not too persistent, pale copper head. Hoppy aroma is not strong, but still tempts with grassy and grapefruit notes. Flavor is mainly hoppy with malty, grapefruit and caramel hints. Texture has slightly above average body and plenty of tingle and fizz. If not Clown Shoes’ best, certainly a good one.

Lemongrass nose, not real strong. Cloudy orange, thin head, some lacing. Overripe lemon flavor. Nice grassy and malty notes at midpalate. Lasting orange peel finish. Alcohol not noticeable., medium body. Good IPA, but relatively lackluster when compared to Clown Shoes’ more creative offerings.

Supa Hero is all about bitterness. Golden bodied, flavor of pine, citrus and mustiness ooze out of this IPA. Maybe I should give this beer more love, but the bitterness was just too much for my palate.

5/4/12. 22oz bomber. Hazy brown/orange pour - looks like peach tea - with a small tan head that fades fast and laces in small, soapy sheets. Light bitter hop aroma - plenty of grapefruit - with lots of dankness and caramel. Bitter hop kick up front with caramel, grapefruit, pine, dank hops, and more. Tasty, but maybe a bit malty.

Bottle at home shared with DuRoc. Pours a clear light cobber with an off-white head and lacings. Smells of hops and malts. Bitter with some hoppy sweetness. Nice floral hopsprofile with spruce and hints of grapefruit. Also tiny hints of metals. Medium to soft carbonation. Medium bodied.

Taste is citrus fruit, spicy hops, floral notes, sweet malt, tropical fruit and caramel. Body is medium with a soft, prickly carbonation. Finishes with more citrus, tropical fruit, spicy hops, light pine and caramel.

On tap at Blue Monk. Amber with white head. Orange, lemon, pine, some malt. Slightly stale bitterness, astringent, high carbonation, moderate body, dry and fruity on the finish. Everything did not seem to come together on this one.
