Pours clear dark orange with beige fizz. Smells hoppy, mild pine, hints of grapefruit and flowers. Taste is incredibly bitter, that really sums it up; this is essentially an imperial IPA; there are hints of malt sweetness underneath, but primarily and intensely bitter. Full bodied with a slick texture and decent mouth-carbonation, Clown Shoes Supa Hero finishes with a strong lasting bitterness.

Bottle from my nephew Hunter.
Pours a rich, deep; cheddar orange with a nose of grapefruit, orange rind, and pine. Flavor follows suit. Simply lustrious on the tongue. Recommended IPA.

Pours clear deep gold into a Sam glass. Off-white conglomerate head recedes leaving spider lacing to coat surface. Caramel, pine and grapefruit aromas. Thick with sweet toffee upfront turning dry in the lasting sweetened grapefruit finish.

A light-medium amber brew. Big frothy head out of the bottle. Nice floral hop aromas. Flavor is super hoppy, with a bit of nutty malts. Very bitter on the backside. Some bitter grapefruit and evergreen notes. Light lingering sweetness, but otherwise very bittering. 8 percent is well hidden.

Amber, decent head. Aroma is spice with perhaps some citrus. Flavor is great with lots of pine and citrus hoppiness giving way to a sweet and bitter finish.

22oz bomber from Artale poured into a shaker. Bottled 12/2011. Pours a lightly cloudy dark orange with a thin bit of white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and caramel. Taste is medium-heavy bitter. Loads of pine sap with a little hint of grapefruit and caramel. Medium bodied with a thick yet slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long, very bitter finish. Overall, great. I’m glad I got this when it was still nice and fresh. I would love to try this on draft.
