Herbal, pine hops rule supreme in this ale. Blanketed by a malty sweetness. Nice long pine bitter finish. Highly drinkable, for an 8% standard IPA. This runs, for me anyway, a couple of points above run of the mill east coast IPAs. This runs under "Try it".

Bomber, love the label, pours a hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma of resinous pine, hops, a bit of oxidation and diacetyl. Flavor is buttery, some bitter hops, and the finish is a bit metallic. Bummer.

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden copper with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet sugary melon and dank piney peppery hops.

The flavor is is a let down - earthy grassy bitterness, a little sugary fruit, and some cardboard notes. The mouthfeel is light bodied and very watery.

Overall, I was excited after pouring, but the flavors are not bright and a bit off and it’s really watery.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, clear to slightly hazy orange-amber pour with lasting white head, aroma brings notes of caramel, toffee, more grains, biscuit, vanilla, slight orange, grapefruit, marmalade type notes, touch of lemon, earth and spice. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, lemon, biscuit, bread, some hints of caramel, toffee, grain, finishing earthy, spicy, this is kind of like a well done ESB vs an IPA.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Very hazy orange amber with a foamy golden head. Chewy toasty malts, soft marmalade hops, more malty than hoppy. Not sure how old this bottle is.

Bomber, shared with Ogreface, BeerTemple, Amsterdam.
Cloudy-hazy appearance with a reddish body, medium crwamy off white head. Overriped fruits in the nose, like a marmalade with some resiny-herbal hops. The flavor starts with a huge bomb of fruits, thick body with a really dry dinish. I miss some more complexity from this beer, expected more.

Bottle. Almost bubble gummy aroma with malt. Sugary. Mostly clear dark amber. Very little visible carbonation. White head, nice lace. Wonderful, hop flavor, perfect balance. Unique hop finish. I would gladly buy this again and hope I remember to do so.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained off white head, with some lacing, over a clear amber (SRM 12) body.....nose is pine, grapefruit, light toffee/caramel....taste is resin, grapefruit, light toffee/caramel, finishing with a moderate bitter finish.....mouth feel light of medium, slightly sticky, carbonation adds acid tingle. This is a very typical "East Coast" IPA in that the hop bitterness is not overwhelming. It could use a little more complexity in the malts, but is otherwise quite nicely balanced. There are many others that are better. BJCP 7/3/13/4/7

Good beer overall but average for an IPA. Citrus and orange on the nose, almost blood orange. Clear and light copper color with no head (tap). Average weight with good amount of carbonation. Decent mix with lasting bitterness. More of the orange citrus flavors. A little mix of malt sweetness but not much. Easy to drink but not overly unique or exciting.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head and moderate retention. Light cat piss, spicy, a bit resiny hoppy, floral, a touch boozy aroma. Grapefruit, grassy, dirty earthy, spicy hoppy, a bit gummy malty, cracker, bitter flavor. Kind of disappointing.
