COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.

Belgian yeast up front with hops taking precedence the deeper I sniff this beer. Slightly hazed Orange color with a creamy tan head. Definitely a schizophrenic beer, a hoppy Belgian Double, a yeasty IPA, just what is this...Frankenbeer? It has the characteristics of both, nice banana & spice of a Wit and a flavorful hoppy mouthful of an IPA. Pretty darned good though hard to figure out what’s going on, kind of like Jazz.

33 cl. bottle at home. Low but lasting fluffy white head. Hazy dark yellow body. Dusty cardboard aroma with mild notes of mango. Pleasant fruity flavor of exotic fruits with a good deal of hops bitterness though not too much of a good thing. Low carbonation. Long finish. Well balanced with a good allcohol level.

Bottle@home, from Heinen’s, Cleveland, USA. Medium aroma with sour notes of mango. Copper color with small/medium white head and hazy liquid. Medium balanced taste of over aged mango with wild yeasts and Christmas flavors like cinnamon, slightly sour. Medium/short aftertaste with slightly sour fruits. Medium/light body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, more wild ale than IPA, BUT in very good way. Balanced and refreshing, not too wild.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle at Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring, MD. Lightly hazy, golden color with a 2-finger off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of orange, tangerine, peach, mango and cloves. Taste of cloves, ginger, mandarin orange, passion fruit, crisp peaches, caramel and lemon. Medium body and medium/high carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Nearly opaque orange with some suspended solids. Thick frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, clove, coriander, and a hint of pine. Belgian yeast, oranges, peppery spices. Balanced malts and bitterness. Silky foam and smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle 35,5cl. Orange/golden with a nice big head. Fresh hoppy aroma, citrus, pinetree and some flowers. Very nice taste. Some malt present, but definite not sweet, and nice fresh hops.

Rating #1246 - 08.09.2014 - Bottle from CBI. Golden pour, small white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is peachy-mango tangerine-kumquat. On the palate, similar tropical flavours, mild resin, mild pastry dough malt. Medium bodied and extraordinarily balanced. Great depth and crushable at 7.2%. Worthy of that back pelvis.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2015 It’s exactly what it sets out to be with the unmistakable Belgian yeast esters and flavor and then there’s the hops, along with orange peel. It’s alright. Upping my rating from previous try, really good.

Aroma of tangerines, oranges and belgian yeast. Taste is fruity and in the top register its orange marmelade and peaches. From the bottom I get marzipan and some salty minerals. Really good aftertaste.

Bottle from bob. Nice bright hazy gold. Yeasty notes along with the hoppy character. I liked it.
