COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.

Bottle from the BottleDog and drunk at home. Clear deep amber lasting beige head. A little Belgian ester yeast on the aroma, some tangerine and orange. A little alcoholic in the mouth. An ok Belgian ale with quite a few PNW hops added to it and a touch of orange fruit flavour. Some sweet malt aroma. Yeah just not quite the best mix of flavours. Belgian ale comes through. OK.

This is a good IPA, Belgian style ale. It is medium to full bodied, with an nice head and a light color. The malt is somewhat lost with the strong hop taste, but otherwise, it is a good brew.

12 fl oz bottle from Brewdog online store. Hazy brown amber colour, frothy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of melon, mandarin citrus, spice, yeast. Taste is malt caramel with orange, grapefruit citrus, banana yeasty notes and spicy bitterness. Soapy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Pailhead (4777) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate orange, lighter orange peel, faint toffee, and grapefruit. It pours a hazy/cloudy amber with a two finger off-white head that has decent retention. Eventually it fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is a good amount of thin soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate-heavy citrus (predominantly oranges) with some spicy Belgian yeast and a touch of bubblegum. The sweet orange flavors up front turn to more orange peel in the finish and mixes with some light lemon, grapefruit and spicy hops. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.

Overall solid beer. Pours clouday amber color fizzy whit head. Aroma full of esters, malt, alcohol. Flavor is a little astringent. Makes esters prominent. Overall an okay beer.

355ml bottle. Pours a cloudy medium amber, with an off-white head. Hoppy, spicy aroma, orange peel, spruce, caramel, apricot, resin, grass, white pepper, juniper (?). Off-dry, medium to full bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, resiny, spicy taste, apricot, spruce, orange peel, phenolic notes, cloves, bergamot. Quite enjoyable, but it maybe finishes a tiny bit on the harsh side. Nice, nevertheless. (2014-05-10)

bottle at home from brewdog online
hazy dark amber brown with fluffy beige head collapsing to a lacing. fairly warming, fruity yeast esters and hops working well alongside the added orange peel.not sure it needs to be7% though, just a bit too hot in the finish to be great.
