Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.

On tap. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a creamy off-white head leaving dense curtains of lacework. Intensely hoppy aroma with plenty of exotic and somewhat herbal hop accents. Medium-bodied, very interesting tropical fruit notes with an almost perfumy edge. A little yeast as well. The finish is dry and bitter. Excellent. 201111

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of fruit, tropical fruit, hops, resin, citrus, light pine, mango, tangerine, and orange. Poured deep orange in color with a small, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is heavily bitter. Tastes of Belgian yeast, hops, pine, resin, fruit, citrus, grapefruit, light spice, and tropical fruit. Medium body. Dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Hops, citrus, Belgian yeast, light spice, resin, pine, fruit finish is dry. 7%ABV completely hidden throughout.

Im not a fan of Muffin Top which is the imperial version of this beer, but I am a big fan of this one. Really spicy from the hops to the yeast all add a nice peppery spicyness with a sweet citrusy backbone. Finish is dry and spicy.

Grapefruit, apple, grape, mango, bubblegum, hay, floral, and a hint of cilantro greet the nostrils. Golden with slight leaning toward amber rests the ale, crowned by an inch of smooth white head that recedes to an uneven skin. It leaves drape like lacing in my New Holland High Gravity tulip. The taste is light sweetness followed by bracing bitterness, with an underlying aftertaste that escapes my deScription. Medium in body, the texture is oily and slick with soft carbonation. There is a bit of an astringency on the finish. I am very pleased to have found a bomber of Tramp Stamp, and would visit it again.
