COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.

On tap at flying saucer Houston. P is a hazy chestnut orange with a white head that laces nicely. Nose is deep sweet citrus hops. Taste is the same with a tons more bitter rind than expected. But I love the depth of balancing the sweet and bitter. Fairly complex beer that is enjoyable but one glass is good for me.

Sampled at AC Beerfest (2014). Poured a hazy dark orange color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of citrus pulp, orange zest, caramel malt, and hints of spice. Taste of light Belgian yeast and spices, with sweet citrus fruit, and caramel malt.

Bottle. Nice notes of citrus, mostly orange, Caramel malts, and notes of hop and pine. Good bitter finish. Body was just slightly too thin.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color topped by a huge rocky beige head. Slightly yeasty citrus malt aroma. Notes of tangerine and pink grapefruit. Upfront, flavor is complex malt with notes of toffee and more tangerine. Mid taste is fresh citrus hops and bready yeast. Finish is citrus hops with a chewy dryish bitterness. Overall, nicely balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle at home. Pours clear copper with a large, creamy of-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy and barnyard yeast notes, herbal, floral, citrus, and pine hops with apple and pear esters, toast and cookie malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, crisp malt, fruity esters, Belgian yeast notes and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

A nice, smooth but uninteresting IPA. Pours a nice bright orange with a white head. Smells of citrus and some floral notes. Taste is nicely balanced and creamy, and not too bitter. Not super complex though. Had on tap at Taps.

Bottle pour murky copper orange. Nose Belgian sweetness, some spicy ester, and mild dank hop. Taste definite Belgian character, spice and sweet, then mid palate sweet malt. Ends with dank hop and some spiciness.

Deep cloudy orange pour from draft at Jaks. White head. Sweet and fruity aroma. Taste is hoppy with tropical and floral fruitiness. Orange and banana notes. Love it

Rcvd in trade. The appearance was a hazy orange/brown colored body with a one finger white foamy head that died within a half a minute, light adequate lacing tries to cling but slides for the most part. The smell had lightly spiced (more or less clove-ish/coriander-ish) that combined nicely with some citrusy hops that brought out some oranges and lemons. The taste was bitter and sweet at different times, light spices add their flavoring to assist in balancing and lead to a mainly sweet orange aftertaste and a dry finish. The palate sat about a light to medium on the body, could be slightly construed as sessionable. Carbonation was fairly harsh pounding my mouth and tongue into submission, still good for its style and for me. Overall, I say this is a good Belgian IPA well worthy of having again, if I ever had it again, I’d definitely like to pair it with some king salmon.
