Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction. Soft but complex malts, Chambly yeast, sweet orange peel, Columbus, Amarillo, and Centennial hops have merged to create a bodacious Belgian IPA.

amber pour with little head. Slightly hazy from yeast sediment. Smells of orange zest and pine. Taste is astringently bitter with dry bitter lingering finish on te sides of the palate. Missing the malt backbone for this amount of hops. Belgian flavors are there from the yeast but this is nothing special.

Impressive ’Belgian’ aroma in an Amber pour. Taste is impressively ’Belgian’ too with a nice balance between hops and malt. An ’American’ take on the style - that maybe lacks a little of the subtle complexity of the masters.

From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. Decent hoppy-soapy (I guess it’s the Belgian yeast) brew.

It smells nice and fresh by little apricot and orange peel and hops. The taste is slightly sweet fruit, while hops is lurking a little in the background. Hops behaves more like a fountain from which overturns a veritable cascade of hops notes out in the mouth. Lovely fruity hops with semi-dry aftertaste. Very delicious IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Appearance is hazy gold to amber, creamy foam. Aroma is toast, fruit and melon, slight yeast. Taste is melon flavors with a hint of citrus. Palate is medium carbonation, soft in the mouth, creamy. Pretty decent.

I got this in a 4-pack box pf 355 mL bottles. It poured a soft sunset colour into my glass with a thin head. Bubbly, but not overly so. The aroma was of lychee and sweet tropical candy. The taste was subtle, with well rounded malt notes and a complex bitterness from the hops. The yeast definitely lent itself to this beer. I enjoyed it, but didn’t really taste the "Belgian-ness" of this one. Still, would drink this again.

650ml bottle. Light hazy golden orange color with off white head. Hoppy, malty and yeasty aroma, citrusy fruity, orange, caramel, spicy yeasty. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation

Spännande. Jästig som en Belgare men med beska som en IPA. Jag gillar den fruktiga känslan! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle into snifter glass, cloudy amber-hued golden color with tan head. Aroma notes of grapefruit/citrus hops, some pine, Belgian yeast, tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, peach), light spices and bread. Taste adds some banana, clove, yeast funk, toast and earthy/peppery bitterness. Medium body, moderate-heavy carbonation, dry, crisp with lingering grapefruit/peppery bitter finish. Taste certainly is a change from the aroma, and a tad too much carbonation. Still a tasty interesting Belgian IPA.

Light amber beer with a thick billowy off white head. Hoppy nose of citrus, pine resin, and tart spice. Flavor follows with a nice burst of juicy citrus bitterness that has subtle undertones of sweet orange and a touch of sourness. The mouth feel is a bit oily, which allows the flavors to linger as they coat the palate. Good beer, although somewhat mild for an IPA.
