In a world full of uncertainty, hardship, and people trying to hold us back, do we need the undead and trademark attorneys too? Clown Shoes says, "No, die, monsters, die!" Forces of darkness brought about a change in the name of this beer, which was released to celebrate our second anniversary, but it still sports signature dark malts, holy water, and malt smoked locally with hickory and ash.

Pours out a dark brown, on the thinner side, and small khaki head. Aroma of roasted burnt coffee and dark chocolate. Taste was bitter with burnt coffee, dark chocolate, and some dark fruits noted in the background. Filling beer and a sipper for me. Not bad.

Bottle from Hop City, Atlanta. Packaged as Vampire Slayer. Pours a dark black/brown, little bit of brown head, looks like soy sauce. Aroma nice, an almost smoky, roasty character, tobacco, soy sauce, plums. Body thin yet aggressive, finish dried fruity with a bit of a woody bite. Really nice, if not in the top tier of the style.

Bottle, as "Vampire Slayer". Pours vcompletely black with a one-finger brown head. The aroma is of roasted malts and chocolate. The taste is of roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits and sugars and a bit of coffee. Full body and soft carbonation. Alcohol well hidden. Impossibly smooth and velvety feel with a long roasted aftertaste and a slightly bitter finish. Some hops could’ve made this even better, but it already is damn good.
