UPDATED: MAY 18, 2014 Wow. From a bomber, pours black as can be with a big foamy beige head and huge amounts of lacing. Aroma is a roasted smoky chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, moderate (perfect) sweetness, some bitterness in behind. Balanced. Perfectly balanced. Thick chewy mouthfeel. Alcohol hidden well in the flavor, but I feel it. This is a huge beer. I really wish I could get this in Oregon, but Iím glad to find it when I travel. Awesome beer. I love this one.

Aroma- Dark fruits: plum and dark cherry. Caramel, toffee, coffee, dark chocolate, booze and some smoke. Smellís like thereís some oatmeal in there, too. Just a touch of band-aid, but in a good way.
Taste- Plums, cherry, smoke, and caramel, followed by decadent bittersweet dark chocolate, toffee, and a nice balance of booze. Nice smokey aftertaste.
Palate- Thickish, creamy, slightly syrupy. Taste melds with the mouthfeel beautifully! Drying and oily. Smokiness lingers a bit.
Overall- I usually drink half of a bomber before sitting down to review, but this time, I only had about a cup left before it even crossed my mind. I loved how the mouthfeel complimented the flavors. I canít really explain how it did, but they went together wonderfully to me!
