COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a world full of uncertainty, hardship, and people trying to hold us back, do we need the undead and trademark attorneys too? Clown Shoes says, "No, die, monsters, die!" Forces of darkness brought about a change in the name of this beer, which was released to celebrate our second anniversary, but it still sports signature dark malts, holy water, and malt smoked locally with hickory and ash.

From bottle Vampire Slayer 2013: Pour - pitch black with thin tan head. Aroma - can smell this beer from 2 feet away. Smoke, chocolate, burnt toast, booze, and brown sugar. Taste - bitter, burnt, smoky malt with nice bitter sweetness and boozy taste. Palate - oily, slick mouthfeel with a bittersweet finish and fizzy carbonation. Medium-full body. Good beer. Not a huge fan, but I have one cellared for another time so we’ll see how that goes. Reminds me of Dragon’s Milk without the bourbon barrel flavor.

Black in the glass. Soapy caramel colored head. Sweet dark cocoa flavor followed by a hint of minty hops. Clean coffee and mocha aroma. Overall, a solid brew. Thanks barzigkin for sharing.

Chocolate, coffee pretty good. A nice imperial Stout. Very strong and has a prominent malt flavor.

Bottle looks cool with vampire theme. Other then that just an avg imperial stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barreras (942) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Pours a dark cola color with a black licorice flavor. Taste is rich in dark malt with heavy alcohol notes. A distinct smoky flavor to the beer, a little too much smoked wood flavor. Overall a decent beer for the style but not to my liking.

Bottle, labelled as Vampire Slayer, shared with Grippitis and Parksy. Inky pour, thick brown head, good retention. Aroma is chocolatey, with licorice and soy. Palate is much the same, but with a subtle smokey and woody character that adds to the appeal. Delicious.

This beer is labelled as "Vampire Slayer" around these parts. The palate is rich yet smooth. The chocolate notes stood out to me more than anything else, but there is also plenty of roasted and smoked malt. Not cloying or harsh whatsoever, just a great imperial stout.

Bottle - Light peat notes, chocolate and a bit of soy. Jet black with a rich brown head. Heavy roast, dark molasses, peat, plum and balanced finish. Although not a smoked beer, you do get it in the flavor profile. These guys are awesome.
