From notes. Great beer, Bottle poured into a shaker. Coffee, chocolate and loads of smoked malt. I’m really liking this beer. I think I can taste the Holy Water.

Good thick, dark black imperial stout. THe smokiness is definitely there nad pairs nicely with the roasted malt.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Vestergaard (107) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2013
@Unibar, Aarhus. Pitch black with a brown fluffy head. Smells like raisins, chocolate and coffee. Taste is more than expected from the coffee and dark chokolate. Works well with the soft palate!
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 deyholla (4787) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 22, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 23, 2013 Bottle thanks to my Secret Santa. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong roasted malt note as well as a bit of coffee that has a slight acid note and a good amount of smoke. Flavor has a combination of smoke and strong roasted malts with just a hint of bitter coffee. Gets better as it warms.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ineedbeer (185) - San Leandro, California, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Bottled 2/2012.
Aroma has balanced notes of dark fruit, chocolate and roast. The secondary notes in the aroma are smoke, tobacco and leather. The dark fruit esters are prune and dark cherry. A hint of alcohol in the aroma.
Pours black with a small thick mocha head that slowly recedes but lingers as a thin film in the center and along the edges. Some light lacing an medium sized legs.
Flavor is very nice - sweet milk chocolate and bittersweet chocolate dominate the front of the palate with some fruit creeping in. Mid palate you get roast, a bit of smoke and some tobacco as well as the dark fruit. In the finish you get more roast and smoke but balanced with some dark chocolate notes. Medium low bitterness and no hip flavor. Light alcohol note in the finish. There is a hint of raisin in the flavor as well as the dark cherry and prune found in the aroma.
Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium low carbonation. The astringency is low though it was stronger when cold. Alcohol warmth is moderate. A slight oiliness is present.
Overall this is a surprisingly good stout. I certainly wasn't expecting such well integrated flavors.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jrob21 (2011) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Subtle but lacks some of the complexity of the kings of this style. Aroma is a unique woody and a touch of roasted coffee. Flavor is a little port wine, red fruit, and vanilla. The finish has a touch of smoke and chocolate. Finishes with a bittersweet chocolate aspect. Smooth texture and full bodied. You are left with a sweetness that lasts for a while. Very drinkable.

I had this fresh and really liked it. Aged a year and it is awful. Cheap malt this one is not built to last.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Marduk (1266) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 15, 2013
660ml bottle. Deep black color, nice brown head, stays. Dry roast, malty, sweet, plums, dark fruits in aroma. Coffee, dry almost ashy roast, sweet flavor. Milky texture. Quite nice to drink, but bit too sweet.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 FatPhil (7498) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 15, 2013
660ml bottle (Drink Shop, Tallinn)
Soft portery aroma, dark malts, roasted and cakey burntness, but not ashy. Lovely dark black, large tight tan head, fairly persistent - looks great. Lovely bitter roast - grilled chickory bitterness. Milky palate, smooth, but with pleasant carbonation to stop it from being sticky. Smooth and sweet roasty finish. A touch phenolic and smokey. Stays clear of ashiness, but only by being noticeably sweet. Drinks pretty good for a 10% beer, it’s not quite a 6% porter, but there’s no booze in it at all. Full, but soft. A nice cuddly kodiak bear to roll around with!
