In a world full of uncertainty, hardship, and people trying to hold us back, do we need the undead and trademark attorneys too? Clown Shoes says, "No, die, monsters, die!" Forces of darkness brought about a change in the name of this beer, which was released to celebrate our second anniversary, but it still sports signature dark malts, holy water, and malt smoked locally with hickory and ash.

Pours big and thick and black with a rolling dark tan head. Smells like molasses, coffee, dark chocolate. Tastes very complex with caramel chocolate, roasty malts, chocolate, and christmas cake flavours, and very low hop count.has a bug thick mouthfeel almost the consistency of pancake syrup, big and heavy and absolutely delicious. .has a wonderful doughy yeast and is really a fantastic tasting stout. Can you tell i loved it?

650ml brown bottle. Opaque black pour with a low sitting skiff do dark brown head. Nice lacing left in the glass which I don’t always see for the style. Nose has chocolate/cocoa powder and notes of raisin/dark fruitiness and slight nutty note. Rich flavours of dark chocolate, roast, some mild smoky notes. Sharp roasty aftertaste with moderate bitterness, slightly woody, not much alcohol showing. Full bodied and mouth coating. Good impy , but kept wanting more smoke and more bitterness.

22oz bomber from Crossroads. Pours black with a large frothy khaki colored head. Aroma of roasted coffee, milk chocolate, vanilla cream, caramel, and notes of rubbing alcohol. Taste of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, leather, and sour milk notes in the finish.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2014 Aroma is sort of acidic. Smells sort of like a porter. Looks great. Head is smooth and tan. Looks almost nitro. .taste is good but not mind blowing. Very generic. Lighter notes of chocolate. A little sharp on the after taste. Palate is smooth. A little acidic bitter aftertaste. Overall this is not a bad imperial stout just doesn’t bring anything new to the table. Also drinking this as an atheist... Will I burst into flames??? Only time (and the rest of the bottle) will tell.

Pretty bloody good. Not too bitter and not too sweet either. Somewhat pricey compared to others in the class.
