In a world full of uncertainty, hardship, and people trying to hold us back, do we need the undead and trademark attorneys too? Clown Shoes says, "No, die, monsters, die!" Forces of darkness brought about a change in the name of this beer, which was released to celebrate our second anniversary, but it still sports signature dark malts, holy water, and malt smoked locally with hickory and ash.

From notes. Great beer, Bottle poured into a shaker. Coffee, chocolate and loads of smoked malt. I’m really liking this beer. I think I can taste the Holy Water.

Bottled at Beergeek store St Peterburg. Dark brown with, hoppy aroma of berries and trace of coffee. Taste is bit dull, hoppy enough, body is medium-light, bit water for a imperial stout, not enough maltiness - just bit coffee. Completely disappointing for such a high-rated beer.

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. As Vampire Slayer, bottled in 2012. Black with tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roast, light booze. Tastes of light floral notes, dark chocolate, light dark fruit. Medium-full body with a dry finish.

Bottle to glass - pours black with a very appealing camel head, sticky lace. Aroma of chocolate bars, coffee, earthiness, and smoke. Very full and rich on the tongue.... Flavor goes on forever, sweet chocolate meshes wonderfully with the dark roasted malts... Nice vegetable touches in the aftertaste. Well done.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a head of fine to medium sized bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque and a good lacing. The weak aroma was malty. The mildly vinous thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild roasted malt aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of black malt root beer strong malt mildly vinous sweet burnt malt and brown malt.

Kjempegod ettersmak. Fyldig og myk å drikke.

650 ml bomber bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.

Looks: Opague blackish brown colour; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy beige foam which fades in 10 seconds; Poor sticky lacing with zero carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant and sweet rich dark malt, with strong smoke, hickory, ash, bacon, light brandy, liquorices, strong plums, raisins, strong caramel, sticky toffee, rich chocolate, vanilla, cream, floral, sugar, spices, earth, bread, yeast, lemon and grass. What a blast!

Taste: Strong sweet rich dark malt, with strong roastyness, nuts, moderate Brandy, strong liquorices, strong plums and dark fruits, caramel, strong sticky toffee, chocolates, vanilla, floral, tasty sugar syrup , spices, herbs, bread, yeast, strong lime, strong bitter hops and sharp grass. Fantastic!

Body: Mid to full body. Very slick and quite oily palate.

Mouth Feel: Full-on dark maltyness in a solid and smooth background, very roasty with lots of peanuts. Nice liquor-ish Brandy with equally strong liquorices to compliment the strong plums, caramel, sticky toffee, vanilla and chocolates. Strong sweet but in a nice way, well balanced by limey herbal spicy hops. Blistering yet well balanced!

Booze: the 10% abv doesn’t hit as hard as I expected. It’s there with full liquorices glory but in a pretty comfy way as long as you sip instead of gobbling down. Good!

Hoppiness: Floral, spices, earth, lemon and grass in nose. Herbs, floral, spices, lime and sharp grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, close to high astringent sweet-bitter malty finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry. Sweet, boozy and bitter to mouth.

Comments: When an Imperial Stout is well-made, you know it with well-balanced sweetness, well-rounded booze, and strong hoppiness. This one hits the bulls eye and then some, with great smoky aroma, strong roastyness , dark fruity and vanilla herbal spicyness. It’s immensely rich but in a compact way. Brilliant!

My god this beer looks amazing. Pours a dark syrupy black with uncontrollable crema head. Aroma is of vanilla, wood, toast, dark chocolate. Tastes much like it smells with some leather and coffee in there as well. Has a big syrupy body, that is smooth and feels so right. This is what I look for in my Imps.
