COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In a world full of uncertainty, hardship, and people trying to hold us back, do we need the undead and trademark attorneys too? Clown Shoes says, "No, die, monsters, die!" Forces of darkness brought about a change in the name of this beer, which was released to celebrate our second anniversary, but it still sports signature dark malts, holy water, and malt smoked locally with hickory and ash.

65 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with some sediment and a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, liquorice, and chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt and dark chocolate – with a bitter finish.

22 oz bomber. Tasted on 10/30/14. Beer from Total Wine Dallas,TX. Pours to a jet black color with a dark tan medium head. The aroma was great with a ton of roasty dark chocolate, espresso, dark fruits& some good notes. Great flavor that is similar to the aroma. Great balance to hide the 10%ABV. Very good stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours out incredibly black and opaque with a head of thick, dark tan. An interesting take on an Imperial Stout with big robust and heavy roasted notes. A bit sweet and fruity in the middle with nice coffee and espresso notes. A bit of dark chocolate with nice heavy robsut notes. The finish is bitter with robust malts, light alcohol boozy notes and big in the mouthfeel. Overall a huge brew that satisfies my Imperial Stout craving.

Appearance: jet black, vanishing tan head, minimal lacing. Aroma: bitter dark chocolate, ash and light smoke, hint of licorice and vanilla, hint of plums and prunes. Taste: dark and roasty and bittersweet, with chocolate, vanilla, licorice, definite hickory smoke, soy sauce, hint of burnt molasses. Finish: long, roasty, and bittersweet, but with well-hidden booze. Notes: Big beer from a bold brewery. Not bad, but not amazing. Seemed just a tad muddled, like too much was going on. Still enjoyable.

Aroma is espresso, coffee, raisins, toffee and deep roasty rich malts. Taste is like aroma. Deep rich sweet malts with brown sugar and a light bitterness in the background that is very subtle. Some notes of rye here aswell. Appearance is black with a thin beige head that retains fairly poorly.
