2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Büchse:: Deep golden, clear, no head to speak of - aka small foamy layer; mild caramelly-bitter flavour with a slight metallic tinge; mild sweetish flavour, pretty light bodied; the can shows up again in the very delicate caramelly-bitter finish. No pleasure, but still drinkable…

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330 ml can. From Colombia. ¡Muchas gracias a Roberto Díaz!
Clear amber colour with tiny white head.
Malt and mild sourness in aroma.
Flavour is dryish malty with some mild sweetness.
Something quite artificial in aroma and flavour.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Shared bottle at abemorstens. Pours clear golden with no head at all. Aroma is sweet grainy and malty. Taste is moderate sweet caramel, bready malts with some very light grassy hops. Not as bad as feared.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Many 12oz bottles in Bogota. Perhaps the best "bad"’ beer in Colombia. Pours a clear amber with some thin, creamy head. Looks like Yuengling. Nose has malt, stale malt, yeast, mild fruit, some faint nuttiness. Flavor follows, some regular bread, mildly grist, some mild apple, lemon. watery finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, as Club Colombia Extra Fina Roja, thanks to abemorsten. ABV is 4.7%. Orange to amber colour, low head. Moderate aroma, a little toffee and caramel, a little fruit and grain. The flavour has moderate notes of toffee and caramel, not as bad as I feared.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Wow. I was looking forward to this being at least superior to Club Colombia, but they either spilled a paint can full of bleach into the fermentation unit or this is really just that bad. Has a strong chemical astringency - undrinkable in a way that pale lagers aren’t even.

Smells okay. This is a bit sweet with some caramel notes in the malt, but overall the flavor is a bit cloying and just not that great. Much prefer the original

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Shared bottle at home kindly provided by a colleague and friend of the family. Marks another country sampled! Short lived tan colored film on a clear golden-orange body. Unpleasant, sweaty and floral aroma. Medium body and a syrupy texture. Malty sweet flavors and light notes of boiled vegetables.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can: Following the craft beer trend this the ’Red’ version of Club Colombia, no distinct style mentioned. Definately more malty. Food pairing: BBQ ribs.
