Bottled. Got this at La Unica Grocery on W. Devon Avenue in Chicago. By the way, La Unica is THE place for hard-to-find Latin American beers in Chicago to my knowledge. They carried Pacena, Pilsener Ecuador, Polar, and Club Colombia. Anyway to the beer, had a hoppy scent so I was kind of hopeful...alas, once again I was disappointed by the taste. Bland, uninspiring, had a chemical corn, astringent aftertaste to it. Since its scorching hot right now, I guess pale lagers are a refreshing thirst quencher before drinking better beers in the fall/winter.

bottle at a restaurant called Bogota in Brooklyn. clear yellow color, thin and tall foamy white head. says bitter pils on the label. aroma of sweet corn, wet paperboard, wet hay. flavor is bitter for a pils as described, and dry at the same time. mineral flavor like club soda. maltyness is corny like masa. some sweetness too but on the low side for a pils.

Can... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Peppery nose. Perfectly balanced flavor, but bland and seltzeresque. Mildly bitter. Light-bodied and fizzy. Finishes crisp, clean and refreshing. Thanks, Angela, for bringing this can back from Bogota!

Very strange, it smells and tastes like squashy beers, I thought only in the U.K. I would find those. But anyway, the flavor is a little strange and not bad.

I thought that the thinnest beer Iíd ever try is Red Stripe, but this Club Colombia seems to be a good beer from the outside, unfortunately its content is so disgusting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2012 After awhile in Colombia, outside of the Bogota Beer Company, which is only in Bogota, this will be the only beer you drink. The crispness of it is almost like a pilsener.
This really isnít so bad for a lager; it makes me wonder why they didnít call it a regular lager (the whole premium lager thing is a joke anyway, since most are terrible). While this beer is from Colombia and is not so great, my girl is and she is awesome!

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2005 Smells like a skunkís ass after a bad bought of diarrhea. Some mild sweetness in there as well. Perhaps said skunk ate some flowers. Pale gold with a tiny head. Corn syrup sweetness with a lot of carbonation. It almost tastes like McDonalds french fries in the finish. Maybe they use discarded french fries in the brewing process. Still it probably works nicely in a sweaty Colombian Bodega.
