1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle from Gourmondo.de. Clear gold colour, small mostly vanishing fizzy white head, virtually no lacing. Lightly malty aroma of grain and straw, light spicy and floral hops. Taste is initially lightly sweet and acidic with a bit of a mineral feel, turning into a mildly bitter finish. Light body, dry mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Fairly standard South-American lager gotten mainly for the country tick, possibly a bit better than most of the other ones I tried.

Een goei pilsbier. Geen topper, maar wel beter dan het merendeel van de pilsbieren.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
South American standard lager with snow white head and deeply golden colour; malty aroma with vague floral hops, taste a malty sweetness, bland and boring but rather ’honest’, with only a short-lived, faint hoppiness in the finish.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 Review: Bottle of Club Colombia pale lager, 4.7% ABV
I have to say was very pleasantly surprised with this lager. Wasn’t expecting a whole lot from a Colombian beer, but it was a lovely tasting beer with a nice looking body that was enjoyable to drink.
The beer pours a lovely clear gold body, with a decent frothy head that lasts. There was little lacing.
The smell is not strong or unpleasant, a little sweet and corn like.
The taste was of sweet toasted malts with no real aftertaste. A light tasting beer that did the business on a hot day. Recommended.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a thin nearly bright white head. The modest aroma comes across a little sweet and corn like (and I don’t have a problem with that) as well as a little bready. I’m not picking up any hops at this point. A few more pulls bring up a bit of a metallic aroma toward the end of the draw. The taste starts sweet and builds into corn and bread and then a dash of floral hops before some mild apple to pear like fruity esters are noticed. This is not too offensive and ends pretty neutral with minimal after taste. Not something I will buy again but trying it once was fun.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma: heavy sweet caramel malts. Appearance: clear gold, medium frothy head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: lively carbonation, light bitters coming up, otherwise continues malty. Overall: another boring Lager, too sweet in aroma. Bottle from Drinks of the World Bern HB, Switzerland.
